Anybody still think Minshew will back up NF7?

Even the media is going with the legend stuff.  I sure hope is keeps going.  I'm appreciating seeing someone read the field and make throws.  It feels like forever around these parts.

Hopefully the guy can stay grounded. A lot of young players might let this kind of hype go to their head. Also to keep in mind, while Minshew is playing sensationally as a rookie, he's not playing at an elite level. Yet.

I have seen Minshew make some ELITE throws.

The Throw to Dede last night that he dropped in the end zone was a thing of beauty.  I think Dede was shocked it him him right in the hands.   This guy is money!  Should of had 3td's last night and might I add with no running game to speak of.

True but hb1148 is spot on and it is how I feel as well.  Stay grounded (Based on Dad's demeanor post game interview that could happen) and work.  Thanks for the breakdown video on the previous page.  I'm trying not to let the legend grow in my mind too much because dang as a fan, I'm hungry for some good offense and defensive beat downs.

My wife says he looks like he could drive some Nascar on the side.

It must be cold up in Washington.

As I said in another thread, I am now 100% on the Minshew hype train. I was wrong. This kid has three qualities I look for most in a QB. He has accuracy, awareness and poise. He is also a marketing genius. Talk about making the most of your opportunities! I look forward to watching him grow as a QB. It's nice to finally see a starting QB in Jacksonville that isn't constantly fumbling, throwing interceptions and missing open receivers.

I Concur. I too ate Crow w/respect to my initial accessment of GM15. He has played extremely well and I pray that he continues to positively progress while enhansing Minshew Mania.

Time Will Tell.

One pretty remarkable thing with Minshew is that he’s doing all this without a running game at all. They have been in so many 2nd and 10s that I lost count.

I love when they get a quick 4 yards on a WR screen. This kid has a lot going for him and I hope it continues.

And without a decent TE, too.

My God.. This guy is such a sensation right now. It's definitely grown from a cult following. Anyone else just plug his name into Twitter and just read some of the stuff people from all over are saying about him?

"Gardner Minshew once visited The Virgin Islands.. Now they're just The Islands"..

Dude's hasn't just caught Jax on fire. Pretty good feeling.

He’s basically doing it with Chark and Conley, who we should remember were supposed to be trash.

And don't forget hitting his linemen in the helmets.
