I mean intangibles and tangibles alike. The kid looks off defenders like a ten year pro.. his head is constantly on a swivel and it's like he has an innate sense of whats going on in the pocket and the ability to squeeze his body in tight places while still looking downfield.

He has everything you could want in a FRANCHISE QB. Huge win getting him.

Anyone else notice?   Minshew doesn't throw interceptions.

The care he takes of the ball as a sixth-round rookie is amazing. Even moreso when you consider how much he loves his deep shots. There are plenty of veteran starters out there who don't read the field as well as Minshew does.

Something about Jones doesn't have me believing.. he doesn't look as comfortable throwing the football like Minshew.

He's got a calmness about him. Not once did he flinch. It's going to be scary when they get this kid better pass protection and he starts becoming more rhythmic in this system.

Just need to keep rallying around him. Carolina is a good football team. Good test for this offense overall and then defensively they're tasked with keeping arguably the best multipurpose back in the NFL so far this year in check.

They really can't lose their cool and cough up those penalities in this one though. I think it's going to be a close game. Similar to the week two loss to the tinhorns. But they'll pull the win out.

Kyle Allen put the ball on the ground three times yesterday and lost all three. It's amazing their defense stifled Watson and held them to 10 points. Tough game ahead folks.

For sure, but winning and confidence can stack and it will be interesting when Jones faces adversity.

Kinda to pivot to an observation about Minshew and clutchness, talking with Vikings fans about Cousins, they had a very similar game to the Jags playing against the Bears. Got behind and had to beat a stout pass rush.
Cousins put up decent numbers but he couldnt make the play his team needed. He couldnt hit the pass or avoid the rush to make a play. And the fans knew he couldnt do it.
Whereas myself watching the Jags game, just watching Minshew play, there was a comfort level that he would make the play necessary to help this team. And he did it

Good to see we have a player that can play efficiently but also have the calm, cool, collectedness to make the big play.

People keep saying Minshew has a weak arm. I think they are confusing throwing a lot of touch passes that are right on the money instead of throwing 100mph balls every time like Wentz or Mahomes. Minshew can launch it too, that pass to Chark that got called back was on a rope. He couldn't lob it up so he just put it on a line drive. Money.
