I think Solid Snake is just mad people are downplaying the significance of Russell Wilson being a black quarterback who won the Super Bowl. He needs to grow up.

of course racism works both ways.  bet , black miss America, anything you need to divide from the norm by color and race. are racist in concept.  they are tolerated and not called what they are to placate a pitiful minority that apparently needs some self esteem.   being America I don't particular care if someone wants to do it.  but they wont have my respect, instead my pity. I can't wait until their antiquated idea's perish from this earth.

We come in multiple shades and colors: from light yellow, red browns, and dark chocolate. Yes his mother is white so was Obamas. Both proudly identify themselves as African American/Black males. Why does this trouble you?

A little off topic. A couple of weeks ago, ESPN televised a college BB game featuring two women one doing color and the other play by play.

 

Im going to downplay it because its women, and it dosent matter anymore.

To a very small point yes. A woman becomes president...I might make a thread about it, but probably not. I don't look at things like "the first woman to xyz, or the first black/white/hispanic to abc". I look for who a person is...not what they are.

I'd be more impressed if Wilson was the reason for the win than being the QB on the winning team. Not to take away from the accomplishment, but one seems more like a consolation prize.
