It's actually feasible that the players you took will actually be available at the spots you took them. Jeudy, Kinlaw, Winfield and Hall might actually start on day 1 and Anae and Bryant would be part of rotations at their positions. Not sure about how your late round picks would fare, but that's the same with any draft class. Great job!
Gutsy to take Jeudy, but if Kinlaw is available at 20 then it's a no-brainer. Who else did you consider at 9?

Coughlin just screams core special teamer, Guidry is a really good nickel,Huntley was the best QB available,Tezino maybe can become a backup, and Ismael is camp competition. Thanks! Was one of those mocks where everyone i targeted fell exactly how i planned. (04-02-2020, 11:01 AM)JNev Wrote: Gutsy to take Jeudy, but if Kinlaw is available at 20 then it's a no-brainer. Who else did you consider at 9? Guys who were there: Thomas/Willis/Henderson/Lamb/Ruggs so aka brown,Simmons, becton, and wirfs were all gone. Herbert was also still on the board (04-02-2020, 09:56 AM)ColoJag Wrote: 9 Jerry Jeudy, WR Alabama Love 9, 20, 116, 140. I'd probably want interior OL a little sooner because I just cannot fathom being stuck with Cann. Good gawd no!! But I do love the Winfield Jr and Hall picks at 42 and 73 as well. I just think interior OL has to come in that range. Really good mock overall though. Lots to be excited about.
John Simpson is a guy I hope we take a look at in the mid rounds. Can play multiple positions on the oline, former National champ, big body, 1st team All American etc.
Some of the draft boards on Fanspeak are just bizarre... This is with the latest CBS big board... I don't understand how it can be so massively different. I mean, I guess everyone views things differently, but at some point you are just starting to be different for the sake of being different. I dunno.

Trying a formula every draft I do where I’m always taking some combination of OT, DL, WR, DB with our first four picks. Then with the three 4th rounders I’m taking a TE, RB and another DB (CB if I took a safety earlier and vice versa ).Usually happy how they turn out.

Our secondary gets better,we protect our QB and add some depth.
Biadasz starts at C, Linder is back at LG and Muti will take Norwell spot in 2021. I'm intrigued by DE Derrek Tuszka. My addiction to the mock draft simulators is at his best with the quarantine !
That might be my best draft right here. I'd take Kinlaw, Ruggs/Jeudy (if they fall), one of the OT's, or Delpit at #20 in that scenario. We could definitely capitalize on value with drafting another corner in the later rounds like Lamar Jackson, who I'm highly fond in the later rounds. |
