I dig your top 3.

For me personally, I’m not drafting a TE this year. Especially in round 3.

Not bad! Not all in on Becton but I get it. Higgins in the 2nd is awesome and Kinlaw at 20 is unbelievable

I would be quite happy with his draft. It would give depth, cover positions of need, possible future salary cap relief, and people to compete. I would have preferred another CB and possibly a TE, but looking ahead to next years possible potential TEs, I prefer them. Plus it gives Oliver another year to prove if he can handle the pros.

Give me this draft all day long...
Okudah at 9 and Ruggs at 20?
2 interior OL and a tackle prospect that could all contribute this year or next at least, some solid DL and WR picks late...

shoooot.... yes please

For those of you not wanting to wait or see the whole video, they have us taking Isaiah Simmons at 9 and trading our 3rd round pick to move up to Denver's pick at 15 to get Javon Kinlaw, then in the 2nd, Jaylon Johnson, the CB out of Utah.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

Damn. On paper that's a nice haul. You would be addressing every level of defense there by adding some really good athletic ability and speed in general. Problem I see with all of this though.

1. Isaiah Simmons slipping to No. 9 just doesn't seem feasible to me. He's too damn athletic, too damn rangy and intelligent to slip that far. He can play just about everywhere on defense. Would be shocked if he slipped past the Chargers or Panthers.

2. Javon Kinlaw slipping past the 49ERS with the 13th overall pick after Lynch and Shanahan shipped Buckner off to our divisional rival? Just doesn't seem likely. Lynch is a defensive minded guy through and through. I don't think they would let that kind of athlete at the position slip by. No matter how tempting it is to take a WR there.

3. Jaylon Johnson at CB in RD2 makes sense. That's about right where he should go based on most places I have seen value wise. I like this pick. Unless they pass on Clemon's A.J Terrell. I wouldn't like it. Terrell would be my ideal steal in RD2 at CB personally. They probably had him going somewhere before the 2nd RD.

1.  Simmons on the Chargers should make that defense illegal.  That would be sick and nasty.  As for Simmons coming to us, I really like him as a player, but it would have some short term ramifications for the defense, not all of which may be good.  Considering teams play nickle 60% of the time, that means either a highly paid or highly drafted player will likely go to the bench in those situations.  Or perhaps it means Jack gets cut, a year after signing his contract extension.  Or, perhaps the team switches to a 3-4, which would require more personnel changes.

2.  In this mock, the 9ers trade back from 13 to 21.  To me that wouldn't make much sense for them, as they benefit too greatly from either taking Kinlaw for themselves or taking one of the top 3 WRs.  That said, if it turns out this way, enabling the Jaguars to trade up and get Kinlaw, I would be just fine with that result.

3.  Agreed on Johnson.  I like Terrell overall, and I don't want to be overly reactionary, but the beating he took in the National Championship game gives me pause.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

Simmons and Kinlaw would be a dreamy first round, but I wouldn't want Johnson in that mock, don't think we can afford 3 straight defensive picks. I'd want Ezra Cleveland or Aiyuk/Shenault at 42.

I am very much into this draft.

Just curious, who else was available at 9 and 20? Again, I love it.
