Agreed.  But it was also preventable even after Zimmerman played Cowboy if the events as we know them based on the evidence we have is correct.

The cop didnt say anything.  It was the 911 caller, and per the law he did nothing illegal.

Being a young dude from the hood and having nothing to living a life where I tailgate at Jags games with anyone and everyone, genuinely spend time with co-workers, college buddies at house gatherings who of different races would have never thought of getting to know each other on a personal basis means the world to me. 

 

We all have our different backgrounds and im just grateful to have the opportunity to bond with all of these people, but better yet they allow me into their homes and families lives.

 

Picture a black dude from the hood being able to have dinner with a Polish (college friend) family eating shishkabob (sp?) and still being myself.

 

Better yet, picture any of my co-workers coming to one of my family's cookout and doing the shuffle, or playing spades. 

 

Ive come along way, all the while looking at everything and smile.

 

With that said, I haven't forgotten where I came from ,and the many people that need my help or guidance to make it to college to get a better job or education.

 

The struggle is still real.

I agree, but that isn't the only way to look at it.  First response I had to your post was that I agree if Zimmerman didn't go up to him, none of this would have happened.  2nd part of my post referred to the point that it could have not happened even after Zimmerman went up to him.  The point of an agenda is viewing it strictly from one side.  And pointing out the agenda wasn't necessarily at you, just a general comment.


 

Also, there was an agenda pushed around by the media as well like NBC who took Zimmerman's comments out of context.  "This guy looks like he’s up to no good. He looks black".  What they forgot to include of course was that the dispatcher asking him  if he was white, black or hispanic.  Not to mentioned he did not say those two sentences one after the other.

I dont want to rehash the case, but there was a reason that neighborhood had someone patroling the neighborhood.  There were numerous houses being broken into, and people were keeping their eye out.

 

In all honesty its one of the more tragic cases ever.  Wrong place/wrong time with a bad mix of personalities.

People do have a problem with me not labeling Martin as a thug because ive stated ad nauseum on here he made mistakes but people keep interpreting that as me painting him in a different light. I dont have a problem with people labeling Martin, they are just using the incorrect term.

None of this would have happened is Zimmerman wasent playing Cowboy. He saw a Black kid with a hoodie and took it from there. THATS THE REAL PROBLEM. He does what the cop says and niether one of them would be labeled nothing.

They probably search Martin,find nothing and cops telling zims to go home and let people go about their day.
