Rapper DMX vs. George Zimmerman set for celebrity punch-up
|
Quote:Well you brought it up, and I vaguely remember it so there was no denying anything. I didn't mention the OJ thing again because if you were going to deny you said it, I wasn't going to attribute those sentiments to how you feel.

But it was also preventable even after Zimmerman played Cowboy if the events as we know them based on the evidence we have is correct. Quote:Well, it doesn't fit the narrative/agenda. Quote:Because that goes against the agenda of the crusade.. Quote:The cop didnt say anything. It was the 911 caller, and per the law he did nothing illegal.Agenda? Crusade? Travon being profiled is me trying to push an agenda? Honestly...Have either one of you ever been profiled? Diesal/jtmoney. I agree. My only beef is he saw a black kid in a hoodie and thought that got to be a criminal. Speaking first hand.
Quote:You may not look like any of those things, but I'm questioning you being culturally biased. Nope, far from it. Being a young dude from the hood and having nothing to living a life where I tailgate at Jags games with anyone and everyone, genuinely spend time with co-workers, college buddies at house gatherings who of different races would have never thought of getting to know each other on a personal basis means the world to me. We all have our different backgrounds and im just grateful to have the opportunity to bond with all of these people, but better yet they allow me into their homes and families lives. Picture a black dude from the hood being able to have dinner with a Polish (college friend) family eating shishkabob (sp?) and still being myself. Better yet, picture any of my co-workers coming to one of my family's cookout and doing the shuffle, or playing spades. Ive come along way, all the while looking at everything and smile. With that said, I haven't forgotten where I came from ,and the many people that need my help or guidance to make it to college to get a better job or education. The struggle is still real.

Quote:Lying about what? What tactic are you trying to use? What? SMH... Way to use conjecture. You stated you asked him what skin color he was after he stated that is the problem with black america. But in fact, you asked him his skin color before and in his reply back to you he stated a problem with black america (his view point). I'm not sure why I have to keep pointing this out. I did in the thread, included the posts with times they were said. Pretty simple. JFC, my conversation and posts in this thread with you have been simply one human being posting to another. I could care less if you are white, black, yellow, green, etc...
Quote:What? SMH... Way to use conjecture. Once again he stated is issues with Black America in another thread. ie Richard Sherman thread. Ive followed his responses, and pressed him on it this thread because he kept bringing it up. This is the second time Ive had to explain this.

I agree, but that isn't the only way to look at it. First response I had to your post was that I agree if Zimmerman didn't go up to him, none of this would have happened. 2nd part of my post referred to the point that it could have not happened even after Zimmerman went up to him. The point of an agenda is viewing it strictly from one side. And pointing out the agenda wasn't necessarily at you, just a general comment. Also, there was an agenda pushed around by the media as well like NBC who took Zimmerman's comments out of context. "This guy looks like he’s up to no good. He looks black". What they forgot to include of course was that the dispatcher asking him if he was white, black or hispanic. Not to mentioned he did not say those two sentences one after the other.

My only beef is he saw a black kid in a hoodie and thought that got to be a criminal. Speaking first hand. I dont want to rehash the case, but there was a reason that neighborhood had someone patroling the neighborhood. There were numerous houses being broken into, and people were keeping their eye out. In all honesty its one of the more tragic cases ever. Wrong place/wrong time with a bad mix of personalities.
<p style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">"I been understood he thinks differently from me, but when he categorized (all) Black people as the problem with Black America, the question of me asking him what skin color he was was a challenge to him on what he describes as the "problem with Black America".
<p style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"> <p style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">He chose to point fingers at Black America, but yet when pressed with what can he do to help, he offered nothing stating he dosent want to help which at the end of the day is his choice, but he comes across as a hypocrite which is sad." <p style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"> <p style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">You said when he categorized it, you then asked him the question. That isn't true if you were merely doing it from a thread way back. Again, you said you questioned him when he categorized black people as the problem with black america. Which would mean right after. And it happened before. I'm not sure what Richard Sherman thread you are referring to, but the one in regards to race that I could find, Tommy had two posts "Why? Because he's passionate? LOL. He's not a thug. You want to know what a thug is? Move to Chicago." and " Seems like jealousy to me." Quote:What's next, im divisive, im an angry black man, im militant. Go ahead take your best shot. Also, what are you implying in this sentence? When did lying become some coded racism word? It is almost as if you are trying to bait me into making you a victim. Or trying to prove a point of how racist the world is. Unfortunately, I am not what you think of the world in your binocular focused lenses. Maybe you should get out more. Racism is still all around us and I won't pretend to walk in your shoes, but just so you know, there are a ton of non black people who don't judge by skin color. Quote:Nope, far from it. I guess it's all in how you look at things. When I visit peoples homes and socialize with them, I don't think about what color/back ground they come from...I just see them as friends.

Quote: http://jungle.jaguars.com/index.php?/top...owl/page-2 Post number 30. Its not the same exact quote as the problem with Black America, but its close. Quote:Also, what are you implying in this sentence? When did lying become some coded racism word? It is almost as if you are trying to bait me into making you a victim. You know better than me what im trying to do. First you said I was "lying", now im using "lying" as a "code racism word", now you are accusing me of trying to make myself out to be a victim. You are also still on the narrative that im looking at things in my own binocular focused lenses(<-- Whatever that means). Oh look, now you are saying I "should get out more". I never ask you to walk in my shoes, I am giving my own life experiences. There are many black people who think differently, and there are some who can agree with what I am saying or who can relate to my experiences. Keep 'em coming with the recommendations. Quote:I guess it's all in how you look at things. When I visit peoples homes and socialize with them, I don't think about what color/back ground they come from...I just see them as friends. What's wrong with my statement? I have a different perspective. I have a different outlook on life.

I just said I look at it differently.

Quote:People do have a problem with me not labeling Martin as a thug because ive stated ad nauseum on here he made mistakes but people keep interpreting that as me painting him in a different light. I dont have a problem with people labeling Martin, they are just using the incorrect term.First of all, I didn't categorize anyone. I said the thinking that you must defend your race despite the facts/conclusion of the event is what's wrong with Black America. I didn't call anybody the problem of Black America. I think you're very misguided. Quote:I think Bridgewater at 3 is better value than Mack at 3, yes. <div> LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. Clown. </div> We show less advertisements to registered users. Quote:None of this would have happened is Zimmerman wasent playing Cowboy. He saw a Black kid with a hoodie and took it from there. THATS THE REAL PROBLEM. He does what the cop says and niether one of them would be labeled nothing. /Thread. Only one outcome could have absolutely prevented any of this and thats Zimmerman staying in his vehicle and never actually approaching Martin. Zims would have been standing around as Martin was approached by actual police and all that ensues is a couple of verbal jabs back and forth and Martin probably telling Zims and the Cops to shove off as he didnt have anything illegal on him and was simply coming/going to the store. They probably search Martin, find nothing and cops telling zims to go home and let people go about their day. Instead we have some [BLEEP] who shot a "thug" who was armed with some candy and a cellphone and now he plans on growing that act into making money as a "celebrity". Zimmerman is trash
Quote:/Thread. Very good point!
