Actually, Mikesez is correct.  The USPS is mandated to provide delivery to pretty much every residence & business in the country, and at a relatively low cost.  It was established as a public service and was never intended to be a fortune 500 profitability machine.
That $0.55 forever stamp that allows you to send a common letter from New York to California is actually a pretty good deal, all things considered.  Abolishing the USPS would increase mailing & shipping costs for everyone.  It’s probably why privatization, although constantly threatened, is unappealing for most potential suitors...having to operate with the rulesets currently in place.
The prefunding retiree benefits for 75 years into the future requirement was a stupid requirement passed by a stupid act written up by stupid people.  Any business would go bankrupt having to deal with that.  Of course, those same people got us up to how many trillion dollars of national debt now?

This is one of the biggest issues as it shows they think going to college and getting some meaningless degree means you are now smart and can make great decisions. It goes to their thinking that everyone's opinion and voice matters, even though most shouldn't. They don't understand that schooling doesn't make you smart or intelligent, it just means you went to school and passed. They don't understand that what they are learning in school is not the real world.
