Idk,  if it was me walking through that area (because I had to) and that happened to me, I’d beat the ever loving [BLEEP] out of the guy that did it.  Take his bat and give it back ten fold.  Lock me up.

Pardon my language, but they’re [BLEEP] [BLEEP]. And deserved to be pounded like such

Now granted, I am 5'7" tall and weigh all of 150 lbs. if I'm soaking wet and I'm in my mid/late 50's.  This "guy" was probably in his early 30's more than 6' tall and pushing about 250 lbs.  He had tattoos all up and down both arms (was wearing a tank top) and was sporting a "man bun".

Once he saw the weapon he immediately retreated and started shouting how he would "have me arrested for assault".  I shouted back to him that he was free to get my tag number.  Instead he got into his piece of [BLEEP] rice burner car and sped out of the parking lot.  Some of the other patrons in the gas station were laughing and basically applauding me.

The cowards in Portland, Chicago, Seattle and all of the other democrat led cities are all pretty much the same.  They are all "tough" until confronted with real resistance that has a real consequence.

To our brit that moved to Australia, yes I carry a gun.  I don't carry it because I'm "fearful" or because it "makes me feel tough".  I carry it for my protection as well as to protect others should the need arise.

Bit odd you made this story up. Or did you go looking for a dispute?

If not you really should move to a nicer neighbourhood. Also that was pretty stupid to escalate, good thing he didn't have a gun right?

Defending yourself isn’t escalating it. What alternative do you propose he do instead?

Not make the story up? But let's pretend it's real, Probably not pull in when a maniac is following? Which he definitely wouldn't have done without a gun, so the gun could have got him killed.

LOL Make it up?  Why in the hell would I do something like that?

For your information the gas station was the last store within 10 or 15 miles of my place and happens to have an ice machine.  It is also one of my regular stops out to my property.

You are right, I might not have stopped if I wasn't armed.  However, my beer wasn't going to get cold by itself.

Here we go. For those that don't use Twitter, some of these folks are armed.

About 4 o'clock in the riot gear halfway back. Revolver with his arm fully extended.

I think he posted the wrong video. I had to scroll down to see it. Does this one work?

Yeah, that's weird. Don't know why it keeps doing that. When I first posted it, the correct video was showing up in the thread. When I came back to the site a few hours later, it was doing the same thing. Scroll down to about the 6th video from that link.

For me each of our videos has a man pointing a gun. Yours is the second clip and it's the same video that I posted. The one that says "Alan Swinney pulls a gun on the crowd...".

You never did say how it escalated.

Such a senseless thing to die for.

Wearing a hat. Not chasing anyone. Not assaulting anyone. Anybody on this board going to rationalize why a man should be shot for wearing a hat? This is all brought about by leftist ideology. Words are violence, right?
