Weaver was cheap so Gene did not have up to the salary cap to spend on top of that Caldwell has had much more draft capital. As someone else said it' like comparing feces to vomit. It all stinks. The real issue is Caldwell is going on his 7th year here. That is disgusting. IF he was a locker room problem why not just come out and say that. They were coy about it. ![]() We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! (09-02-2020, 05:50 PM)RealJagsFan Wrote: I agree. Players would never live that down. Without being able to say that LF was doing a lot of things detrimental to the team, it just makes no sense. I definitely don't see a bunch of young guys like we have pulling something like that. Maybe a really hard working veteran or the QB are the only ones that would make any sense and we don't even have the former. That fact that he still hasn't been picked up speaks volumes of how he's seen across the league tho. I really hope he's been good with his money cuz it doesn't look like he'll be getting that big 2nd contract unless he seriously balls out this year for whoever scoops him. There certainly aren't many players on the team who have the ability to ask for someone to be released. The only reason I can see this being true is for LF to have already been demoted. If he had lost his starting job and had a bad attitude about it, then some players definitely could have asked for him to be released.

Gonna sign with the Bucs

Everybody else has a lot to prove.
Fournette just signed and there's already issues lol... He wants Jones to give him #27.

You have clearly forgotten how bad it was with Gene. None of his picks ever made a pro bowl. None of them were traded for anything of value. Almost all where off the team within 2 years of him being gone. There is no comparison between gene smith and Caldwell. One is an all time worst GM and the other is average at worst. Yes, it's improvement, but it's Blaine Gabbert 2012 level improvement. - Pirkster The Home Hypnotist! Media on the Brain Link! Quote:Peyton must store oxygen in that forehead of his. No way I'd still be alive after all that choking.
So Fournette now has Arians and Yan has Zimmer. Arians a great O coach, Zimmer a great D.
Be interesting to see what production they get. Maybe help us understand why Marrone is constantly staring at the replay screen chewing his gum and not doing a thing. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

Jags twitter is abuzz. Guess CJ Henderson isn't happy with the situation.

Looks good.

I can already feel it in my bones that CJ was a mistake. I really hope I'm wrong, but there are all of these little flags.
Otherwise I really like this draft class though.
I know this probably sounds dense, but can you explain this to me? I'm not on twitter and frankly have a hard time following all of the replies and retweets. All I see in the link you posted is a bunch of reaction to...something. What am I looking at?
It was Instagram. When Fournette was doing an Instagram Live about his decision to play with the Bucs Henderson wrote "Free em" as a comment. People are taking it negatively and as a sign of things to come with him as well.

Thanks for the explanation. Some of us older folks aren't very social media savvy.

As in "Free them?" Maybe he meant free the Bucs. Or maybe he meant freedom. As in, freedom for Fournette. Or maybe it's some kind of code. Do these players communicate in code? What the heck could "free em" mean, anyway? "em" is not a word.

I think people definitely have reason to worry a bit when we have had so many top players get disgruntled enough to want out. |
