5 months of Wilson Vs Fields would drive me mad.

But we still have people acting like they'd rather draft Fields over Lawrence. It's crazy!

To be fair, you explicitly stated that you would take Wilson over Lawrence a few times.

I won't let that one get away. Ninja

1. Trevor

Big gap

2. Fields
3. Wilson

Massive gap that’s immeasurable

4. Lance/Trask/Jones

This is exactly how I have my QB rankings as well.

I'm not gonna deny saying it either. At the time I didn't think we had any way of drafting Lawrence and the gap between Wilson and the rest of the QB's were so wide in my opinion (and they still are,) that I was adamant we should take him. If you check back in those old posts, I later went on to say that I basically had Wilson and Lawrence ranked neck and neck. I then said I believed Wilson has a slightly higher ceiling, but Lawrence was the safer selection. We can't screw this pick up. Once we were assured of getting Lawrence, I was on board 100% with making him the selection. Make no mistake though, I stand by what I said about Wilson. I believe both these guys are gonna be NFL stars, so in my mind, there is no wrong answer to who we should pick, when it comes to these two. I stand by that 100%. From what I have seen, both of these players have very high floors. I believe at very worst, they could have Andy Dalton type careers. At best, they could be as good as Aaron Rodgers or Pat Mahomes, but in all likelihood, they will probably fall somewhere in between. That's good enough for me.

Who else is #TeamMeteor for this NCG?

Cripes. I DVR'd the OSU-Clemson game primarily to watch Lawrence, as the last time I saw him was last year's NCG (which I watched mainly for Joey B and Coach O). I am just not wired to enjoy college football, I guess. I get that watching your potential top pick struggle through the game is not the ideal way to spend a Friday night, but I can't get into the gross mismatches of talent on O vs. D in college.

As a kid who went to MACtion school and is always on the outside looking in, I just get so flippin tired of the same 3-5 programs at the top every single year, lather, rinse, repeat. I don't know how CFB fixes things, but I know their ratings were WAY down this year, even with empty/reduced seating at stadia ,so logic would assume all those diehards were home or at sports bars consuming the product, right? I just wonder how many other suffer from the same disinterest, and how long or how severe it must become before the NCAA addresses the issue (or if they even acknowledge it!).

Natty championship tonight, while most eyes will be on Fields I am interested in Mac. I know he isn’t a top athlete but the kid can play some Qb. I think he works himself into a top 15 pick.

Who else is ready to watch future Jags QB Justin Fields shred Bama tonight?

OU looks good. Still playing with a chip on their shoulder. But how the hell do let DSmith roll out like that with one guy in coverage.

Overall that last drive wasn’t pretty but it got the job done for bama.

Sark sure does love screens. It’s like a Jedd Fisch offense on roids.

How does Alabama manage to have NFL ready talent on their team EVERY year?

Man that sucks. I understand the Targeting rule. But to me, throws like that over the middle are as much on the D players hitting as it is on the QB leaving his guy hanging out to dry.

The shot on fields last week was a LB teeing off on a QB. I see the call there. But tonight, they took a big dude against a db and threw it tall over the middle. I personally don’t fault the db for making the hit.

Is this the best offense in college football history? Averaged like 50 a game. This is just too easy.

Fields got lucky with that missed INT in the endzone. Bad throw. Settled for the FG.

Mac Jones throws a bomb to Devonta Smith. And now they score again to make it 28-17.

I wonder if all the people last week that thought we should take Fields over Lawrence are now going to come back and say we should take Mac Jones over Fields.

Horrible game here.

Mac Jones will bomb in NFL like every other Alabama QB.

OSU should be ashamed of themselves

Holy [BLEEP] that guy is amazing.

42-17 if Ohio state can’t stop them after the half.

Mac is a solid player, I said before the game this game might propel him top 15. But no... not one person will try and make an argument for #1 and if they do throw an egg at them.
