Henery to Pats for reportedly 40 million.
What is this? Are we actually going for these guys seriously? We usually have to overpay to get who we want but this year weve got no one of any real quality yet teams all around us getting better.
Is this the FO offering less or is this the negative attention of Coughlin and the NFLPA and the recent nutritionist making players pick anywhere but here? We have ZERO experience on this roster and do you guys really think another year's rookie class is enough to improve a 1-15 team? Even with #1 and Lawrence

Getting the feeling that a lot of guys don't want to play for Jacksonville, no matter the financial offer. And that's why being hesitant to right the ship and instead letting terrible coaches ruin an organization, becomes a factor, beyond making supposedly correcting moves.
It's still early in free agency, but if this really is/persists to be an issue, its a FAIL on the part of ownership We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
1. Either Khan has instructed the team not to spend much money.
2. Players do not want to come here due to the past drama with players wanting out of Jacksonville or the fact that we have a completely inexperienced head coach or the fact that he was willing to bring in a coach who was perceived to be a racist. 3. Our front office and head coach are completely incompetent. It has to be one of these options and honest to God, I have no idea which one it is, but something is going on here. If I were Trevor Lawrence, I'd be rethinking whether I wanna come to Jacksonville. This is starting to feeling like the Indianapolis Colts situation where they drafted Andrew Luck and surrounded him with nothing.
My apologies...but I thought we were the team with the most spending money. I must be mistaken.
How do you think they’re going to spin this? “Not enough value” or some bs like that?

Urban looking real good so far as he jacks off to the speed guys and throws money at them while letting actual good players at positions of need to elsewhere.
The more things change, the more they stay the same. I would guess our whole draft is going to stink of Al Davis speed fetish apart from Trevor.
They will probably say we offered money but no one wanted to come. Whether it's true or not is another thing
No way Khan told them to not spend. We have to reach the cap floor. No way can we not spend money.

Man. I was trying to stay optimistic but they are signing guys I've never heard of. A 29 year old TE with 12 career catches? Ward is terrible too.
There's still time I guess but something looks really wrong. Maybe they are gonna nab Samuel, Trent and Everett. If they do that, it's all good but at this point, Trevor will be behind the 8 ball. |
