Perfect first 5 picks?

I wonder who Baalke had his eye on.  Granted, there's a lot of prospects there, but there are any number of guys the Jaguars could look at.  You figure Waddle and Smith are going to be gone, and the team wouldn't be interested in Mac Jones because we will get Trevor Lawrence.  That leaves...:

Alex Leatherwood
Landon Dickerson
Najee Harris
Deonte Brown
Dylan Moses

...as likely targets.

I think the least realistic will be Marshall at 45, probably has the lowest chance of your picks of actually being there on darft day. If the picks fell this way it would be a good day.

That was just 1 weekend and right after he won a championship and didn't give up 1 sack his whole college career and was elite.  He probably took a little break but he looks like he is back on the grind after already getting losing 20 pounds since.   I'm not gonna let 1 weekend of a Senior Bowl change my mind of the last 3 years of his dominant gurad play at Alabama.  You were probably one of those same guys that didn't want Orlando Brown after the combine but then wanted us to trade for him a few weeks ago lol

If you are unemployed and go to a job fair, do you show up in jeans and a tee shirt, with a hint of booze on the breath?

He could have opted out if he didn't give a fart about the weekend. If he took a break then, what tells you he won't again, especially if the team is 6-8, and the team is eliminated from the postseason? I'm not saying undraftable, but it would give me pause. And I'd also wonder if the stats are more a product of where and with whom he played than just his sheer mansomeness.

Dickerson is the only Bama guy I wouldn't be upset with drafting before day 3. Not a great sign that we were one of the priority teams there.

I have no clue how there board is set up and or how the draft will fall.  Hopefully though they take the top player on their board whoever that may be.  If our draft fell that way though it would be a great first 5 picks

Yesterday you just said that Barmore would give our DL something it doesn't have and would be the BAP at #25.. Now, in less than 24 hours you'd be upset at taking him???

Sorry, I meant of the non first round guys I was responding to too much too fast. Obviously if Surtain, Waddle, Smith, or Barmore are at 25 I want them.

I mean I don't want Najee, Leatherwood, Brown, or Moses.

Ok, that makes a lot more sense. Was like .... what? lol.

I completely forget about/ignore Surtain, Waddle and Smith when I think about the Bama prospects. Don't see any way they're still on the board at 25. Probably a long shot for Barmore still being there as well.

TheDraftNetwork has a pretty great mock draft machine. Due to Farleys back, he fell to 25.

1. Lawrence
1A. Farley
2. Eichenberg
2A. Rondale Moore
3. Brevin Jordan

Moore at 45 is much better than 33 with his size and injury history.

I am? OK. Again, not undraftable. Does it knock them down a few pegs on my board? Very flippin likely. I think he went at a reasonable spot in the darft, and apparently 32 GMs disagree with your opinion, as they all passed on him multiple times before the Ravens called his number.

(that's a stat, and a coincidental fact. Don't forget that Blaine Gabbert is a Super Bowl champion.)

And it was a learning point for the 32 GMs, most regret not taking him earlier. You can't overlook 3 years of tape for a combine or a SB.  You compare a 3 year stater to a guy that didn't play a down, comical.

Elijah is a good fallback if we miss out on Rondale.

I'm not so sure we have Rondale over Elijah on our draft boards. If we didn't it really wouldn't be a miss.  Elijah has played 3 straight full seasons and has gotten better every year, kinda the opposite with Rondale

I wouldn't argue that Elijah is safer, but Rondale's ceiling is just absurd.

Id argure that Elijah's is just as high.   Who is the last great 5'7" WR?
