Josh Allen is a beast in any formation you want to line him up in. As long as there are a few other competent players in that formation as well. If they can double and triple team him then he will be as successful as any other player not named Lawrence Taylor in said formation.

He played 3-4 in college for the most part and thats his natural position. His rookie year he exceed all expectations and the O-line didn't really know what to expect from him. Last year was a down year, especially with the injuries.
I can easily see him getting back to 10-12 sacks this season playing his more natural position.
