Perfect opportunity to work Tebow in there for some QB snaps so we can trade Lawrence, Luton, Minshew and Beathard for draft choices.

Am I the only one who is starting to get a little worried about how injury prone Lawrence has been so quickly?

By little maybe 2% worried?

Dude didn’t miss a single start due to injury (1 due to COVID) in college. Had surgery in the off season and then small hamstring tightness that won’t prevent him from practicing tomorrow.

Positive vibes.

Do have some minor concerns about how a skinny tall QB might hold up over an NFL season, but injury prone due to coming off the practice field with a tight hammy? Come on.
I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

Lol, I forgot I joked about that last night. Obviously I'm not worried.

He's wiry like Randy Moss or Randall Cunningham.
Dennis Green purposely kept Moss from running slants or inside routes because he though Moss' skinny frame was made him susceptible to some kind of leg or knee injury if hit too much.

This is why I don't want him running read option or using his legs to gain yards.
His mobility should only be used for roll outs or to extend plays a la Aaron Rodgers and not to gain yards on the ground.
Dabo started to use his legs to gain yards in his sophomore and junior year and I felt this was really risky. In the national championship game he started to run alot and coughed the ball up a couple times when hit.

Meh, he'll be 225 by the end of next year.

He's 6-6.

Carson Wentz is 6-5 237 lbs an built like a tooth pick at that weight.

Joe Flacco 6-6 245 lbs.

I prefer we don't find out whether his wiry body will sustain major injury.
Eventually I think he will fill out more but there's no reason to have him running around on the ground for yards.

Not gonna lie, homeboy is SKINNY!

He’s got a thick lower body but I’m way more muscular up top, which isn’t saying too much.

As long as he doesn't break like the proverbial toothpick we should be good.

Speaking of Lawrence, I was at a local watering hole and the conversation turned to our new QB. Amazing how many Jag fans don't seem to have any confidence he'll be any good. Surprised me. I was the only person expressing any optimism. I guess that's what years of losing will do to a fan base's psyche.

Welp hammy still holding him out. Kind of odd as i dont see why he would have been doing a lot of running.

Has he signed his contract yet?

Hammy tightness? Did they have him running sprints?

How could someone that young be so out of shape?

You ever play a sport?

Stuff happens.

One wrong move, one wrong planted foot - hell one wrong stretch - and things can sprain strain or break.

Yes. I got hammy tightness occasionally when trying to go full speed to get to first base or to breakaway in soccer. You don't get it otherwise.
