So this is going to be what breaks it completely? Honestly this is the weakest thing that the guy did around here.

He lost what little credibility and authority he may have had with this team.

It's over.

When youve lost the locker room, yeah your done.

To be fair, we heard this before and it turned to be baseless.

Joke of a franchise.

Translation: The lawyers said there isn't enough to fire him for violating the morals clause in his contract and if we fired him anyway, we would have to buy him out.

I think this gives some players assumed justification to no longer buy in on Urban's team plans. This is the bigger issue/ repercussions of Urban's Hands Drill.

Go read the Michael Silver thread on Twitter (he had good sources before) with players commenta. Its a disaster

Shad is making Mike Brown look like a top notch franchise owner.  Oh Urbz needs to re-earn trust around the franchise.  It is bad enough being a joke on the field but the front office and now the coaching staff is just layering on the embarrassment.

Edit:
The current incident is not funny at all.  It is just stupid really. It is just a shame that we suck so bad and have to tarnish everything that seems to be a positive.  Way to suck the life out of the start of Trevor Lawrence's career.

Its what i feared Khan would do, this was his pick and hes going all in and riding this all the way down. If the quotes from players are true then it feels the same with the 2017 group who had enough of the dysfunction and wanted to be anywhere but here.

Bull [BLEEP]. A classic armchair summation. They want to win, not play drama games.

Bootie grabbing aside, why would you have problem that he had a few at his own bar after a close loss? Dunno where all the sudden choirboys on this thread came from but I wouldn't find it particularly disturbing unless he's under 21 or driving himself home or something along those lines.

Yep.

I agree. I don't like Meyer but this all seems like a big nothing. Team had off for the weekend after a Thursday game. I thought I read where he stayed there for a friend's wedding? Not sure on that but I thought that's what I read. Anyway, the only person who should be irritated by this is his wife. It seems like a lot of people who dislike Meyer are magnifying this into some big hooplah. Firing any coach for something like this is absurd.

I believe he knowingly violated the rules of college football while whining about other people doing it. I believe he allowed felons to avoid the rules and remain on his team. I believe he abandoned Florida after he started the dumpster fire using his health as an excuse. I believe he covered up Zack Smith's domestic abuse at OSU. I believe he's a great coach when his personnel are better than the other team's but he's not particularly good at the Xs and OS of football. I think he's in over his head here, has already damaged this team by making moves just like Caldwell did, and that he'll quit when he realizes it.

In short I think he's a really bad guy who lacks integrity and class, and when it catches up with him he runs away like a little [BLEEP].

Not sounding good
Definitely looking bad for Urban.  For those, like myself, who are at work and can't access twitter - here are some of the comments from the Michael Silver tweets:

One player told me (Silver), "He has zero credibility in that stadium, he had very little to begin with"

Players were very put off that he canceled Monday's team meeting as he dealt with the uproar of this issue.  "He was too scared" said a player.

Meyer only apologized to position groups individually.  He portrayed the woman as a random person.  The audience was highly skeptical.

A player said "we looked at him like [BLEEP]?  Right when he left, everyone started dying laughing, and he knew it".

Bottom line said the player, "It's bad, I don't know how he's going to function".

The armchairs seem to be more right than wrong when it comes to this team…..

There are already quotes from players that they aren’t buying in anymore and that they basically laughed at him when he left the room.

If the smoke here is even remotely true on respect, how the heck are we going to acquire and retain anyone outside the forced labor practice of the draft.

Such a joke about losing the locker room. Remember Gus Bradley who went 12-48 here in Jacksonville and had the 2nd worst losing percentage of any Head Coach in the history of the NFL, those guys in the locker room loved him.
