Urban out and about

Peyton Manning didn’t have the same HC his whole time in Indy and he turned out well.

I’ve seen it many times before but the only QB to come out in the last 5 years or so that can actually make up for the ineptitude of this franchise is Trevor. From a mental standpoint and talent level, he can do it.

Get rid of Urban. Hire Joe Brady. Division titles follow.

Let's do what ever we can to get Brian Daboll if Meyer is out

Oooooh, the mythical "right guy that can develop our young QB"

Is he available for an interview after his lunch with Santa Claus?

I'd be good with Brady too. Probably my number 2 guy behind Daboll

You know how many scenarios exactly like this happened before everybody had a camera in their pocket? You guys are weirdos , especially the dudes on here criticizing him for it. You know damn well his wife is not going to leave him over this. On to the Tacks.

And you don't see a problem with that either?

Bootie grabbing aside, why would you have problem that he had a few at his own bar after a close loss? Dunno where all the sudden choirboys on this thread came from but I wouldn't find it particularly disturbing unless he's under 21 or driving himself home or something along those lines.

Yep.
I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

Those are the top two pretty clearly, but flip them for me. What Brady did with Teddy and 3 1k yard receivers and now Darnold is slightly more impressive than what Daboll did with Allen.

Either one would be dope though.

Meyer does a radio endorsement for Florida Home AC. I bet they cringe every time it’s played on the air.

Having drinks? Go for it.

Having the entire team fly home, you stay behind and go out grabbing college girls? Not the type of culture Urban has been preaching…..

This incident is just another feather in the cap of his ineptitude when it comes to being a leader of men and a HC.

CMac was out this past week and he put DJ Moore in the backfield for a play. Just beautiful.

Side note. 2 Terps being top 10 WRs. Pretty awesome.

Well this escalated quickly. I am very disappointed in Meyer. This was just such a stupid move and bad example on all counts.

I wouldn’t call his three National Championships as ineptitude. On a personal level he may not be ideal, but there’s no denying the results he gets from an organization.

It was talked about by several ex players as something they had never heard of before because he's supposed to be the leader of these men. "Hey guys. You head back on the plane alone but I'm gonna hang back and party it up. Good job out there tonight"

And this right here sways my decision to have him ousted solidly. The absolute disrespect and lack of professionalism completely diminishes any semblance of leadership he may have wielded with this team by not joining the team back home.

I couldn't care less about his social indiscretions, even if I oppose them, but the fact that this occurred after him not joining the team on the plane is 100% terrible optics - and most likely diminishes what little authority he had within the locker room. Worst case scenario, this whole thing unravels the team chemistry and players completely disregard any sort of professional structure that NFL teams normally employ and things go off the rails.

I'm not a hater of Urban but I don't see how he can maintain player trust and authority in guiding this team, especially when it seems like he's about to navigate some choppy waters with his personal life.

Not sounding good

I knew this would be EXACTLY the case that would transpire.

He lost what little credibility and authority he may have had with this team.

It's over.

Sorry. Should have clarified.

Ineptitude at the pro level. Just like with college players, your college accolades mean nothing in the NFL.

Bevell. He took over last year in Detroit.

It’s irrelevant honestly.

We have entered a state of Urban Decay

Urban decay (also known as urban rot, urban death and urban blight) is the sociological process by which a previously functioning city, or part of a city, falls into disrepair and decrepitude. It may feature deindustrialization, depopulation or deurbanization, economic restructuring, abandoned buildings or infrastructure, high local unemployment, increased poverty, fragmented families, low overall living standards or quality of life, political disenfranchisement, crime, elevated levels of pollution, and a desolate cityscape known as greyfield or urban prairie.
