Was there any falsification to my statement?

Quote:This is exactly what I mean.. Some of you are so far up Teddy's anus, that you're blinded with poo.. If it's not Bridgewater, you guys are gonna whine and cry.. I'm really starting to believe that you guys are the second coming of the Tebros.. Seriously..

Not me.

I'll be fine with either Manziel or Teddy at 3.

I'd be fine with Bortles if its a trade down and still get him say, at 6.

I would be okay with Garoppolo as a 2nd round guy.

Those are the only QB from this draft that I would be happy with as --the-- guy.

Any other QB such as Mettenberger, McCarron or Murray, I would be fine with as a 2nd QB taken in addition to one of the above....but not as the answer alone.

I don;'t want Carr or Boyd drafted by this team under any circumstances.

Better question is how many are not from the SEC?

It still hasn't been addressed how Teddy plays worse defenses.  He's excelled against the #5, #9, #9, #10, #17, #19, and #22 defenses in the country the last 2 years.  That's 7 good games against top level defenses.  How is level of competition a knock on him?

Aaron Murray is terrible.  He has not one characteristic that stands out to be an NFL QB... Maybe his love for the game, but I love football too...  He's bad against good competition, he has a below average arm, below average accuracy, average pocket presence and mechanics, and had the best offensive weapons in college at his disposal.

I think Manziel is a 2nd round prospect at best, but at least Manziel has an aspect of his game in which he is dominant.

I'll give you Florida, Rutgers and Connecticut.. Especially Florida's..

Glad you can make time to be with us here on the forum, since you're so busy with your full time job of NFL scout since you're so good..

Quote:Those great SEC defenses huh? Didn't Taj Boyd crush LSU by himself 2 years ago? Boyd will be a 3rd round pick this year. Didn't Teddy lead Lousiville to a win over Florida that same year? Yup.

All the love for Teddy ... Yea it can be annoying sometimes but nothing and I mean NOTHING is worse than the SEC homers. That's the worst. Stop using the conference as the berometer for a good QB. How many Successful QBs in the nfl are from the SEC?
The breakdown of playoff QBs-

ACC

Phillip Rivers

Big Ten

Drew Brees

Tom Brady

Mountain West

Andy Dalton

Alex Smith

PAC-12

Andrew Luck

Nick Foles

Aaron Rodgers

SEC

Peyton Manning

Cam Newton

WAC

Colin Kaepernick

ACC/Big 10

Russell Wilson

It really doesn't make that much of difference what so ever. The MOUNTAIN WEST had as many play off QBs as the SEC. The "level of competition" talk is irrelevant

Not sure if a joke or....

Jusdging competition is dumb anyway. If a qb displays positive traits in one game he is likely to the same in another. We have a sample of teddy playing well against + competition. He played defenses that were ranked high, just not sec defenses which doesn't mean anything.

Because the AAC as we know it now (current teams) IS ONLY GOING INTO ITS 2ND SEASON. This is the first season players are eligible to even be drafted from it. What's your next argument?

I actually spent most of the day giving my two cents.. I'm done.. Sometimes you just have to dedicate time to say what you feel and think..

Over all, we're just gonna have to agree to disagree.. If I hurt your feelings at all today, I didn't mean to..

Carry on fellow Jag Fans..

@MoveTheSticks: Finished watching a cutup of Bridgewater's TD/INT for 2013. Inside the pocket 26 TD/4 INT. Outside the pocket 5 TD/0 INT.

I agree I also mentioned sec qb prospects from this years draft and I agree u don't draft player because of conference but I also think going crazy after small school like Gene Smith is mistake too. Cyp Fiu and C Shorts Mnt Union are 2 of the best young talents on jags roster. Go Jaguars!

You need a drug test conducted on you if you think that is the case

And you don't think for one second that non-Teddy homers don't think the same?
