Texans Select Teddy

#1

How believable would this be? When was the last time a QB with that level of competition or questionable size selected first overall?

With the success of guys like Roethlisberger, Kaepernick, Flacco, Warner, McNair and the failure of guys like Tebow, Wuerffel, Zeier, Colt McCoy, Vince Young, Matt Leinart, why do so many place so much emphasis on college strength of schedule at the QB position?

I hope you are right and Houston DOES NOT take Bridgewater, but I just don't get why college opponents matter.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

Sweet!  I'd rather face Teddy than a line with Watt and Clowney.

When you get into the endzone, act like you've been there before.

Texans are in need of a QB. Teddy is the number 1 rated QB on many draftnik boards, and is being labeled as the most pro-ready. How believable is the Texans taking Teddy? It is believable.

Level of competition is extremely over rated. Look at Fischer going over Joekel last year.

Teddy isn't flashy enough....cheerleader enough...or SEC enough for some. Give me calm and collected over rah rah every day of the week.
If that RV sales place wants Tebow in Jax bad enough to take out a billboard saying as much.....they should just HIRE him.

I think its cause some of his supporters are pretty extreme. I would LOVE if the Jags drafted Teddy but I just don't yell it from the mountain tops

Yeah I understand. I'm the same way. I think he would be perfect here. He loves to spread the ball around and we have some really good weapons for him.

He and Ace would be money

I'm not concerned with his competition or size. I was just wondering when the last time a QB like Teddy went first overall. If the Texans pass on him then he should be our's

No you have to evaluate the player, not who they played... I mean sure the defenses weren't crazy good but he was still facing tons of pressure each game and making big time throws.... Awful argument
