it is nice seeing 6 in the green or blue on defense. that is a good improvement over last year. even if just PFF lol
The two grades that resonate with me are Jack and Shatley.
I've noticed inside pressure or collapsed pocket issues from Shatley of late, and Jack has had gap issues as well as being a step behind consistently when asked to cover. (He STILL bites on motion in the backfield and gets out of gap, plus the stretch play has the same effect on him -- he's a 4-3 Will, not a MLB) We show less advertisements to registered users. Yeah this is the first year Norwell has actually earned his top of the market salary. Good for him.

It's also funny that this was a player that we had under contract through next year, but Meyer/Baalke renegotiated a shorter contract. Everything they do just seems to backfire on them.

This might be a case where if he hadn't been renegotiated he'd just be playing worse. Some guys only seem to give maximal effort in contract years. We show less advertisements to registered users. That's a recipe for gameplans to exploit. I'd be cool if we shopped him in the offseason, he doesn't fit what we're trying to do.

Charts with both ESPN win rates and PFF grades. Judging by this pass protection is what we do best.

Ignore those numbers. The offensive line is horrible because anything UM says is prima facia incorrect. If the line looks good it's only because TL is a stud. And if TL looks like he's got a really, really, really long learning curve then that's only because the oline sucks.
The inconsistency of those two arguments should be ignored. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! When watching Taylor play I feel like his pass block rate and run block rate should be reversed. Ive seen him make some nice blocks in the run game
PFF has released their latest Team/player rankings for weeks 1-13. Outside of them saying it, he has been just horrible. Can't cover, struggles to tackle, slow reaction, just overall a bad football player. To be honest, he should not be in the starting lineup right now. He is in one of those Square pegs in a Round hole situations. He is not a MLB. If they continue this scheme they have to get rid of him.
