Same with Leftwich, learing from Arians i am sure. winning culture. bring that here. Pederson and Caldwell i only included as they had success in the NFL. and respected and would be able to bring in quality staff.
See that guy on the left. He could do a better job than UM.

Maybe one of the other guys is a better choice, but I don't see how anyone could look at UM and Pederson and then hire Urban.
I am just afraid Byron is not ready. I think the guy will be a good HC one day but I have my doubts on what he can do right now.

I also would be able to tell players what they need to do to get better. We need a GM that actually knows how to spell and speak proper English. I don't think you qualify.
I think Daboll and Pederson are the top picks. I don't think Leftwich is really proven yet, and he seems pretty easy-going for a head coach. Bienemy, I doubt they'll take him with his previous run-ins with the law.

Dilla has a pretty good record with his predictions/sources. While Leftwich may not have been my top choice (Brian Daboll), he certainly has a lot going fo him:
1. He has been a hot name for a couple of years regarding future head coaches. 2. His offense at Tampa has done great, although they certainly have the talent. He had a great reputation before going to Tampa. 3. Reportedly, the players love him. That would go a long way in securing desirable free agents. Are you listening, Chris Godwin? 4. He was well-liked during his tenure in Jacksonville. I believe our fans would support this choice. Hopefully, Baalke would also be let go. Cullen is the one coach deserving to keep his job If these things happen, I believe Byron could be successful.

And he's probably more knowledgeable about the game than any coach we've had here. I said it before, if we could have put his brain in David Garrard's body that would have made him a perennial pro bowler. (12-16-2021, 03:27 PM)jaglou53 Wrote: 4. Those Leftwich vs Garrard debates were ugly. ________________________________________________ Scouting well is all that matters. Draft philosophy is all fluff. Personally I always liked him and thought he got a raw deal, but at best it was a 50-50 split. ![]() We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Not to mention, Byron has the luxury of Tom Brady who basically coaches himself.

Byron was doing well without Brady though. He just had a waste of space at QB throwing the football directly into the opponents hands.

In 2019, when Leftwich was OC without Brady, they had a top 5 passing offense. I think if he assembles the right staff he could do wonders with Trevor. |
