A guy with what appears to be aboue the same amount of clout as the guy who said we were hiring Caldwell to our FO is saying the Broncos have decided on hiring Hackett.

Why is it assumed that Baalke is staying as the GM and a new HC and coaching staff will be hired? When Marrone, Caldwell, and Coughlin were announced as the trifecta, no one expected that right? People were thinking maybe TC was going to be the HC, or someone else I can't recall was going to be HC, then Shad pulled off the unexpected. Maybe a new coach and GM are coming and Baalke is just here to arrange the interviews and other behind the scenes things we know nothing about. Maybe new HC is coming, Baalke is staying, and a new VP is coming to watch over both.

Lots of unknowns with the draft as the combine has not taking place yet.
Why was it originally reported that Leftwich would want a new GM, but now it's being said that he would be ok with Baalke?
