I think it was reported that Byron had a few people he would work with (Adrian Wilson was one) but maybe Baalke was another?

There has been tons and TONS of speculation and uncorroborated reports.  I don't know how anyone would know that Leftwich would or would not want a new GM.  

So I wouldn't say it was true or not true.  It's probably just something someone made up.

Hackett/Eberflus and a new GM, without question. Getting rid of Baalke is by a gigantic amount my #1 wish. Giving Baalke any time, much less the all important new HC 1st FA and draft, just gives him more time to keep planting his roots.

Leftwich did a great job game planning for the Rams defensive pass rush. No misdirections or counter plays to offset their penetration. Just give Tom Brady a speech to suck it up and take your hits.

I watched at least 6 Alabama games this past season and I was not impressed. Neal got beat way too often and was bailed out by Bryce Young and his quick read and react skills. If Neal was blocking for an average QB, he'd be a low 2nd, high 3rd round pick. Young made him look much better than he actually is.

It's not exactly like whoever the person we would be hiring as GM would be starting from scratch, as if they haven't been doing their own scouting and junk.

I think they could have forced fournette more since their offensive line was in trouble. Maybe shorten the game and ball control but that's not their style. Either way, they almost pulled the game out if it wasnt for their defense getting worked

Man, it will be exciting if we have Byron and spend to the cap next season. I like our draft class from last year. Campbell, Little, and Cisco showed promise down the stretch. I think Etienne coming back will be a bigger help to Trevor than most realize. Sort of our version of a guy like singleterry .
