Would we still be stuck with Trent Baalke though? That is the million dollar question. I don't care who we hire as HC, as long as Baalke gets his walking papers.

Leftwich, Garver, and all of the cap space has to leave us in pretty good shape for Godwin. I know the salary cap is fake and they'll find a way to tag him at minimum, but I am dreaming right now.

I kept thinking each new year would get better too. It progressively got worse each year after 2017. I have no hope left, unless the GM gets fired and we start fresh.

He'd probably extend Trent Baalke too.
Baalke gets a lifetime contract and fires Leftwich next season, trades TL for Minshew, sets record for full roster on IR with ACL tears, etc.

I feel like if Leftwich is coming in, and Baalke isn't gone, Khan must have assured him that if anyone gets fired next year, it's baalke and not Leftwich.

I'm indifferent on Byron. I like him as a player and remember the whole Marhall team carrying him down field stuff they kept highlighting.

His time with the Bucs is the #1 reason why people want him. He was working with the Goat Most of his time there. Winston did lead the #1 offense one year with Byron but was also a turnover machine.

My concern is bringing in a New Coach in this Mess of a team. I personally want a guy for now who has been head coach before and been successful. Bringing in a guy learning the job in this mess maybe a huge mistake.
