I thought we were going to get Ertz
Respect the game. Play with a sense of urgency.
1.) Take care of the ball. Win the turnover battle. 2.) It's all about 3rd down. Win on 3rd down to win the game. 3.) Playmakers make plays. The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays. Learn from the great collapse of 2023.
I think all these guys who signed early lost out on some money. Harold Landry and Gallup in particular. I bet they both would have gotten 15% more if they tested the market.
Juju would help us, sure, but we'd still have among the worst WR corps in the league if he is our #1.

I'm hoping we actually get better as a team by getting Trevor Lawrence a lot of help. Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!
Just trade for Collins 3/30 is a very solid price. If he's released he's going to demand more than that in FA.

If he can get off social media some and concentrate on football the sky is the limit for him and Trev Kirk would be the more safer signing with Juju with the upside imo (03-13-2022, 10:05 PM)Bullseye Wrote: https://www.si.com/nfl/jaguars/gm-report...uars-staff Two additional Jaguars Coaching FA connections are with Bob Sutton, who was a Senior Defensive Assistant with the Falcons in 2019 and 2020. Falcons LB Foyesade Oluokun, who I believe is one of the most underrated players in the entire NFL, is an UFA who Sutton coached. Another is Lions UFA OLB/ DE Charles Harris, who Sutton coached in 2020. Harris is coming off his best season. You cannot have big upside while having among the lowest aDOTs. He has the opposite of upside. Hopefully he would give us a solid floor and be a reliable chain mover. He's not scaring defenses or offering big plays or anything like that, though. We would still absolutely need to add a field stretcher or two to give the offense any sort of upside.

I'm wondering if the physical throwing limitations of the Steelers QBs in the 2021 season and the Steelers pass blocking issues contributed heavily to Juju'S low number? Ben definitely contributed last year and probably the year before that, but they have been miniscule Juju's entire career. |
