Las Vegas and San Fran would probably be my targets to see if they would bite on most of the 6th/7th picks to move into the 4th round. I'm not sure they would do it.

Oh gotcha. I don't know about TE but i definitely expected a WR to be selected in the first 2 days. With Dan Arnold getting healthy and signing Evan Engram I don't think TE is a pressing need early, but if there's good value in the mid to late rounds I can see taking a flier
Championship Formula:
1) Draft Trevor Lawrence! 2) Play good physical Defense! 3) Keep 91% of the roster healthy! 4) ??? 5) Blank #2 6) CHAMPIONSHIP!!! Paraphrasing Trent: It's better to make one room really good than to make another just average. I think their comments acknowledge that we can't fix it all this year. I was just hoping to be able to watch an exciting offense. Maybe we still will.

I think the guys we have are at least slightly more versatile than that, especially vs zone coverage, but that's the reason many thought a pick was coming.
I'm guessing maybe we draft a third string running back since there are a lot of good running backs left

I figured that the focus would be to give Trevor Lawrence every bit of help and extra tools and weapons to help him succeed and thrive in this league. I'm not at all upset about the way the draft has shaken out but I did expect a pass catcher to be selected between rounds 2-5 (back then we had a 4th round pick when I was conceptualizing this)

Love lloyd and muma, but unless we are reverting to a 4-3 it makes 0 sense to draft both
Willis seems like a nice kid, but I expect him to bust so I'm ok with it being the Titans who grabbed him.

i guess there's no point in following the draft anymore.... none of these guys will make the team anyways.

Could use another OL but everyone here on out is practice squad material. Still, it makes no sense to think the organization sees WR as a need to be addressed high in the draft after the investment in FA. You would be considering it a wasted the pick that could be used on more immediate needs if the expectation is that they will be buried on the depth chart due to what you did in FA. |
