It's weird how his perspective is exactly the same as theirs.

Merely coincidence.

Point is, it wasn't just me.
Bunny said I was the only one who interpreted Trump that way.
I wasn't.
Bunny was wrong. And I was right.
But I got bashed, again, by two other posters, for a wrong thing I didn't say.
All because none of you can fathom that Trump might be sincerely misinformed.

Again, you have redirected the conversation to avoid the point. The original premise made by me was that Trump held NATO accountable for not paying their obligated share. It was then that you intentionally entered into another one your games of semantics in order to promote yourself and to avoid the assertion. You’re a disingenuous putz.

I acknowledged that point.
You should be satisfied.
I did follow up, with more information that was not personal to you.
I know I would feel satisfied if someone here acknowledged and expanded on the points I'm making.
Instead my point usually not acknowledged and more often the response includes a personal attack.
That doesn't expand the conversation.  That drags it down.
It's you guys doing that.
Making it about me.
But you'll blame me anyhow, go ahead.

I stand corrected, Mike, you did acknowledge my point (kind of). Adding to that, I shouldn't have called you a name. That's not my style and I apologize.

Maybe Russell Brand will give you an alternative perspective to the sources you consume. I have really grown to like this guy.

Russel Brand might be the most insightful actor or comedian in the English language business today.

He's right that integrity is lacking, and he's right that the friends and family of establishment politicians enrich themselves by appearing to be influential.

He's wrong that Trump presents any real alternative on this front.  Trump's three eldest children and his son in law obviously enriched themselves greatly while and because dad was President.

The Saudis could have picked anyone to manage their investments. Suddenly they pick Kushner.  There are publicly owned places all over the developed world that are fit to host a US President.  But Trump decided to stay in the resorts that his sons manage whenever he travelled, and of course the whole entourage had to buy rooms there.

And that was at more or less than the market rate?

Markets get quite distorted when a large buyer is locked-in

Maybe.  And maybe Hunter Biden gave valuable insights to the Ukrainian energy company's board.
Jimmy Carter sold his peanut farm.  Trump and his family could have temporarily divested too.

So you don't really know anything but decided it was bad anyway? Color me shocked.
