‘Fictosexual’ Man Who Married 16-Year-Old Hologram Can’t Communicate With Her After Software Support Eliminated

A “fictosexual” man can no longer communicate with his “wife” of four years. Akihiko Kondo, a 38-year-old Japanese man, wed a holographic image of the blue-haired anime character Hatsune Miku in 2018. The character is described as 16 years old, the New York Post reported.

OK ... so let's think about this one. The hologram doesn't cheat on you, it doesn't require dinner dates, and it doesn't order from Amazon Prime everyday. Any chance this could become the new normal for both guys and girls?

I get what you’re saying. It makes sense. Until you finish the list of all the other things they can’t do. I mean…. Men and women both have “their needs” if ya know what I mean.

On a serious note, one that has a relationship with a hologram kinda reeks the “serial killer” vibe.
