I’ll see very few games live this year.  Not even at the sports bar(s).  One of my regular workdays at the course is Sunday.   Most games I’ll get to see will be replays DVRed from NFL Network.  Oddly, the only game I’ll get to watch real time is when we go back to Pittsburgh for my wife’s class reunion in two weeks.

of course i would love to see Jags win other games as well.  I definttly hope they win vs Pittsburgh when your there live for your sake.

I hear you on this. Last year I worked a bunch of Sundays and many of them were long late days. I didn't get home a lot of times until like after 8:30pm and missed almost all of the slate of games, especially the Jags one.  I'm one that tends to work a bunch of Sundays too. Unless I'm taking some leave (like I am currently doing for a few days) I usually get like only one Sunday off a month. Though will be times where I will get an earlier shift on Sunday, and I hope I get more of those this year.

Hopefully we get a lot of good competitive Jags games that we can watch later/get recaps on this year. I will record what games I can to watch later. Hopefully the Pittsburgh game that you will get to see will be good. Maybe the Jags will be playing well and that will be a nice competitive game. 

Regarding today's game, I'm not sure what will happen. I'm not sure how well the Commanders will play with Carson Wentz at the helm. I think that they may not end up being the best team in their division. I think that will be the Eagles. Maybe the Jags will play well against them, largely because Doug has coached Carson and knows his strengths and weaknesses well. And he'll be able to game plan against that. Hoping for a good showing/possible win for the Jags to open up the season.

I just hope they look competent and the game is competitive. I'm sure most on here would be okay with us finishing with 8-9 wins this year which means we'll lose half. Could easily lose today. I just want to see a team that looks like they know what they are doing. And that the young guys look like they'll be as good as we hope.

Talk is cheap. It is time we find out if the Jaguars have improved. Many fans rightfully so have battered spouse syndrome. I for one am going into this game with no expectations. Like Eminem says, will the real Jaguars please stand up? We will have the answers real soon.
