Aside from a couple o-linemen being manhandled at times, the vast majority of the mistakes seem very fixable.

Tighten up a just few things and that could have been a 31-24 Jags victory pretty easily.

Yup, at the end of the day, this team left a lot out there on the field today and it could have very easily been a win. Most importantly the dropped ETN TD, the missed TD throw to ETN and the missed field goal. This out come could have been very different.

positives:
run game was successful
walker looks like a beast
Defense overall forced turnovers in a way we have not seen in many years
Kirk pulled in over 100 yards on his first game

negatives:
Trevor missed at key times (however, its the first game of the year with a new offense. lets give it a little time before we panic)
special teams/kicking is still a big issue

Overall, I was nervous about this game going in. However, the outcome does not change my expectations for this team long-term.

Im so tired of losing

Me too bro, [BLEEP] is making me sick.  Close games don't cut it anymore.  We have to win the games

Lol, close games is an improvement and it's a whole new regime here. Maybe you should go back to college ball where your team gets to blow out patsies like Kentuc-.......

Oh, well that's awkward.

Then leave...go root for another team....quit crying like a baby....

Jawaan Taylor actually might of been our best lineman today. No penalties and I cant think of any bad plays that stood out or did I miss one?

Some people just don't get it....we literally showed progress...we were down at half 14-3 and we came back to take the lead.... Yeah we left a lot of points on the field but regardless we took the lead and if it wasn't for one drive by Washington we win.... It shows that we made adjustments and we didn't get down we continued to fight

as for the desperation pass by Trevor: would have liked to see him throw it away. however, the game was on the line, and he was looking at 4th and long the next play, so I'm okay with trying to get the ball down field. the problem was he did not get a clean throw off. the misses on the open receivers earlier in the game are more of the problem to me.

lol, losing mentality at its finest.  "close games is an improvement"  We won 3 games last year. You play to win the game. If we make it to OT next week but lose you will think its a win because we kept it close

We lost by 6 today so if we lose by 3 or 4 next week you will be happy since its improvement right?

Fair points. I also agree. Would have liked to have seen more consistency from both squads and the coaching staff during the last four minutes of the game.

No timeouts used. Bring the guys together on the sideline and get comfortable. Rest up. Missed chance in a close game to reign it all in.

That huge 3rd and 10 converted around midfield on Washington's last scoring drive. The lack of running the ball in a close contest. Just need to see that maturity. Takes time but it's there.

I'm not happy about any losses.

I just have the ability to analyze what I saw without throwing a temper-tantrum.

Your inability to recognize improved performance by multiple elements of the team is weird.
