The defense is looking like a top ten defense.
They will have some bad games at some point when someone schemes it up well, but they look legit. Pederson has the current offense keeping it competitive but not hitting on all cylinders just yet. Gonna' need to upgrade the line a bit and find a legit XWR - then they should be fine if Lawrence continues progressing at this pace of development.

Defense blew it.
On the run, across the body. Crazy throw.
Missed facemask call on us.

1st half notes I wrote down
#31 Williams. I’m hard on him but he plays gritty football. He takes chances but made a big boy play on 3rd down by knocking the ball down. It was a sure fire first down. Etienne opened the 2nd drive up with 3 straight gains on 3 straight plays Daniel Thomas made a good special teams tackle in the open field Allen draws a holding call. It won’t show up on the stat sheet. Jenkins is having a good ball game. Him and Walker strung out the 3rd down toss sweep. Kirk is always open Robinson picks up the blitz textbook Marvin Jones might only give you 38 yards per game but it’s the most dirty and physical 38 yards you’ll see Lawrence is making late and dangerous throws. He’s caught 2 breaks so far. He will make a quick read and then come back and hold the ball. Robinson continues to turn negative plays into something positive If Marvin Jones catches the ball clean he might have picked up the 1st down but instead we settled for a FG Cam continues to quietly do his job Manhertz got whipped on 2 running plays. He is supposed to be a blocking TE but I ain’t seeing it Lloyd with his 2nd interception leads the team Engram converted a huge 1st down along with Zay Jones Patterson has been rock solid. Make them kicks baby!
