Yea he has the tools to do all of the things,  which is why he was drafted where he was.  Remember he got a pick on Wentz in Week 1 last year at Washington.

OLBs have to cover sometimes

Why do we act like this is unusual ?

You have to respond to what lines up across from you once a defensive set is called - they aren't going to audible out of many of those unless a clear mismatch or bad alignment is evident
