I actually though the same when it happened. Next time he will fall down I bet

See this is the problem with some of the fan base... It's almost like you want it to happen

On the refs.... Part of recovering a fumble being in total control touched and giving yourself up don't you understand

Did not read the entire thread but it looked to me like we were out coached but over talented them today. Also a bit of looking ahead may have influenced the play calling, in the end it was a solid win. Go Jags! Come on KC!

Well not cry literally but if you have passion for your team you’re going to be pissed when they play poorly and happy when they win. It’s an understandable reaction.

He gave himself up as a player.... When a player has control over a fumble the play is over.... So let me ask this when a player's in a pile and has recovered a fumble the whistle hasn't been blown He gets up and he's standing there can a player come over and just hit the ball out of his hands and run it in for a touchdown no he has control He has the ball... The whistle is never been blown at that point... If you watch when there's a fumble  and pile up there's no whistle being blown They wait to see who has the ball at the bottom of the pile right? If that player gets out of that pile and another player comes over and knocks the ball out and runs it in for a touchdown it doesn't happen because he has control and the play is over regardless of the whistle

He was standing. Being touched while standing does not make one “down” by contact

Plus once the said player gets out of the pile with the ball in his hands the play is called dead (and many times the whistle is blown well before then)

You can't answer the question of how he gave himself up.  He was standing up.  To give yourself up, you need to slide feet first, take a knee or purposely go to the ground.  The refs 100% made the right call.  Tank blew it.

Well I have true passion and I don't act that way.... In a pile, you are on the ground.  If you touch a player with the ball while on the ground, yes, he's down.  When you touch a player when standing up, the play continues.  This is pretty basic football rules.

What are you talking about?  Bigsby was never on the ground.  He was always standing.  The ball bounced up to him.

Checked out the Clots board post game. They’re all pretty livid calling Cisco a headhunter and calling for a fine due to a “dirty” hit on Richardson at the end of the game. Anyone see what the heck they’re talking about?

You have a very ‘unique’ view of giving himself up.  I KNEW what the call was before they ever confirmed it.  But you hang on to those misguided beliefs.

Hit him with his shoulder to his back, shoulder, or head. QB was a runner at that point and stretching to try to get to the end zone, so nothing dirty about it.

Cisco is a old school safety in a touch football era though. What he could have been 20 years ago. He would have WRs fearing going over the middle.

Good lord.

You really don’t know ball if you believe a fumble can happen, a player picks it up and is standing….. but he’s technically down because it was a fumble….

Like… what?
