Well, on the radio the announcers said that Trevor's hand off was too high...to Johnson's chest, and not his stomach as the hand off should be.

The pick was on Trevor and no one else.

Johnson literally punched it out of Trevor's hand, it didn't hit his chest. Johnson screwed that up.

I think it has to do with the Influx of people complaining about Lawrence that disappears when he plays well. Even if Lawrence is a problem he's far from the only one, it could be argued that the other problems make Lawrence appear as the main issue.

There are a large group of people on this board that are just overly protective of Trevor and don't want to assign him any blame. Trevor was super hyped, so he's going to get more scrutiny.

A large number of his turnovers are due to incorrect routes and WRs tipping the ball in the air. The fumble earlier will show up on his stat sheet but Johnson punched the ball out of Lawrence's hand. He's so dealing with to leg injuries.

I've been, and continue to be, a Trevor supporter but he isn't playing good plain and simple. He has to step it up because like you said, other teams face similar issues as well.

I'm a full supporter of Trevor but not every interception/turnover is due to the receivers running a wrong route.

Yes, that's happened before, but that throw is on Trevor for staring down the receiver all the way - and it not making it to the receiver one way or another.

It just looked weird having 3 WR's so close to each other. Need to see a better replay but looked like someone ran the wrong route. Not saying Lawrence isn't at fault but it's not always his fault either.

Could be a play design issue as well, but the onus falls on Trevor at the end of the day because he's handling the ball on the field - so he has to be extra cognizant of avoiding costly turnovers, regardless of who is at fault or not.

I don't want to start a huge war or anything, but that play from Baker is the play of a first overall draft pick. With the way TLaw's been playing these past few weeks, does anyone have confidence that doesn't end in an interception or a fumble? TLaw needs a nice long mental reset this off-season to get back to where he was last season. He's forcing too much as his team around him crumbles.
