Trevor Lawrence: Franchise QB (TL Discussion, Merged Threads)

Again, if we enter another rebuild, well, it won’t be here in Jax. That’s an almost certainty.

They aren't spending more than a billion dollars on a new stadium to move.

They won’t be getting a new stadium deal requiring millions of taxpayer dollars with a horrible team

"Rebuild" is such a dumb word used to describe franchises in a hunt for a QB - but does it really mean that?!.... it's not like Lawrence is bringing money to this team in fact many are hopping off the wagon.

I don't think we should move on from him, but I definitely don't want to give him top money yet this offseason and I 100% think we need to figure out how to get him to stop being so [BLEEP] careless with the ball.

The INTs are absolutely because he's forced to play hero ball. Dude has to try and carry this helpless team on his back every single week.

As for the Fumbles, they're definitely a problem. He needs to work on his grip strength during the off season. Time to add that into the weekly weight lifting routine.

INTs due to hero ball would be fine if he was actually playing the hero. It's the reason why Josh Allen's INT numbers don't seem so bad. He's playing hero ball, so his production outweighs the INTs.

One bad season and it’s time to trade him? [BLEEP] off with that noise. I don’t give a [BLEEP] what some clueless fans think or say about him, he’s our QB. If we did get rid of him and he ends up winning a Super Bowl somewhere else, that would be a blunder the franchise would never recover from. The offseason will be here soon and there’s no way there won’t be significant changes to roster and staff to get this thing turned around next season.

If he wins a SB it won't be because of him... unless he somehow improves A LOT. Let's remember that Lawrence is playing for a guy who made Wentz look like a MVP and won a SB with Foles.... I wouldn't be surprised if Lawrence looks worse with another HC.

Anyway, just stop the BS (Baalke) and get a good C and OG for the guy. There is no way we can get a better QB any time soon anyway, just give the guy a good O-line see what happens.

I mean my goodness … on tank dells two deep balls they were complete busts ! No safety in the middle of the field corner outside leverage so he can just run a skinny post and completely get behind the defense ? Are we serious? And the TD what the heck have we never played a bunch set before ?

Multiple other receivers with no one in the vicinity and 0 pressure on a Backup o line ?

Watch stroud will end up looking like every other rookie QB for most of the rest of the year ….

We just managed to make a game so easy for a rookie it looked like he was playing against Rutgers when he was at Ohio state…

Pathetic .

Heads need to roll for this . At least figure out who wants to man up and do their fricking jobs . What these grown men are getting paid to sticking do .

Well Josh is throwing it to Diggs who goes up and gets it. I saw more plays where neither Trevor or the wr's were on the same page. What about the hero ball Lamar threw on us into double coverage and the TE went and got it.

A lot of these interceptions aren't "throw it up and see if your WR can get it."

It's so far off track that people assume the WR ran the wrong route.

Josh just had a RB go for 250 all purpose yards last week. You know what our RB gets us? 12 yards...

Amazing what can happen when other players on the Offense can actually do something besides just the QB huh.

Not to mention Diggs etc etc.

Well typically when the QB throws up his hands and proceeds to have some words with his receiver, it's typically not because the receiver made the right play/route.

Lawrence is leading the league in turnovers with 19.

Trevor is perfect for this team. He is so mediocre that they will never move on from him and we will remain trapped in mediocrity(at best). Fits right in with the rest of the nobodies we have collected.

So, uh, I guess I don’t need to post. But I will anyways. Career backup I said if he doesn’t turn it around by the end of this season. Looking prescient.
