You can't keep PEDSRob, he's one test away from a year suspension. Having 17 million cap dollars wrapped up in that kind of risk is bad business so just cut the guy and use his dollars to bring in replacements. I would've already done that last offsesason but we played stupid games and won the stupid prize instead. “An empty vessel makes the loudest sound, so they that have the least wit are the greatest babblers.”. - Plato

I don’t know about next season yet, but jags need Robinson bad this season. Solid left tackles aren’t easy to find. I would even say he’s more than solid.

Chances are high they will be signing deals or rookie contracts at LG and Center. Who know what they do about RG. Do we really want to be in a situation that involves 4 new players to the line when we could figure out LT in the offseason following 2024? Right now the only thing that seems set in stone for next season is Harrison at RT. Are you currently penciling Little in at LT despite how bad he's looked for 3 weeks?
If only Walker Little, Fortner, Scherrf and the rest of the O-Line had a mentor or maybe a person that was interested in their technique and development as players... I don't know... Let's just get rid of this group and draft another group and assume they'll become great all on their own.
No need to worry about development, they'll figure it out on their own.

Probably too early to write off Little. He filled in for Cam late last year and we didn't miss a beat. Started off this year well and then got hurt. Didnt help they kept shuffling him between positions. Give him an off-season to focus on one position and have him play that position all year and I'm betting you'd see much better play.
But as others have said, it feels like bringing back Cam is a must ________________________________________________ Scouting well is all that matters. Draft philosophy is all fluff. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Again, I just want to point out that our Guards and Centers were the same last year as they are this year.
Wasn't Fortner our Center last year? Wasn't Scherrif our Guard last year? Didn't our RB's do a better job picking up the blitzes last year? (Answer: Yes) But let's put all the blame on the players. I don't get it. So is it the players that told the coaches to stop doing motion pre-snap? Is it the players that told the coaches that we prefer running straight up the middle with no misdirection? Is it the players that told the coaches that out routes and flat routes are the only things they will run? It's beyond ridiculous to think that coaches don't matter. And yet the loudest posters here contininue to tell us that the coaches don't matter and to only blame the players. The players that were here last year and looked 100% better than they do now. But I guess it's because the players just decided not to play good anymore.
Again I just want to point out that we literally have the worst offensive line in the national football league and yet the loudest poster is too busy obsessing over play calling to have a [BLEEP] clue what that means to an offense.

Success? LOL This team had major [BLEEP] issues last year and somehow managed to string together just enough wins late to scrape into the playoffs. Only thing different this year is they waited a while to suck on defense, they have zero run game - because the OL actually got worse somehow, and they have more injuries. All these jackasses whining about playcalling don't understand the game. Press is probably a mid-tier play caller at best but he isn't the one losing these games. He's 10% of the problem at the very most. You want to gripe about coaching? Look to the OL coach and figure out why we have literally zero run game. No matter what runs Press calls - ETN gets contact behind the LOS 70% of the time. They've had weeks to try and manufacture something but everything they try fails. The 5 guys up front are not getting it done. Only a "moron"for in this case a troll - would fail to recognize impact that creates. Teams win with poor OLine play all the time, I understand it’s a problem, but the staff doesn’t seem to able to adjust offensively. The scheme isn’t working, and it seems like it’s being forced. I fully believe this after seeing what KOC has done, changed an entire offense for a QB that had barely been with the team. Look around the league and you can see quite a few different approaches to dealing with below-average o-lines. Obviously it's all easier if your line is great, but I think there are still levers our staff could pull to make it easier. You act as if only the Jags deal with bad OLine play. Lmao.

Doug with hisb butt buddy Press are trouting the same BS as last year and doing literally zero to make it easier for a struggling OLine and QB. But yet the coaching staff is not the problem says the morons. There's awful OL in the entire league, look at Carolina or even our rival Tennessee, they are dealing with practice squads LT, RG, RT..... yet their RBs are still being able to move the ball. Let’s see if Cam makes a difference for the OL today.
Respect the game. Play with a sense of urgency.
1.) Take care of the ball. Win the turnover battle. 2.) It's all about 3rd down. Win on 3rd down to win the game. 3.) Playmakers make plays. The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays. Learn from the great collapse of 2023. This isn't an argument This is me wasting my time trying to educate an idiot There are degrees of bad line play. Some of it is overcome-able - some of it is not. The 4000 yards passing and 27 TDs on the season thus far are how much we have overcome it. The 6 losses and abysmal run game are how much we've been unable to overcome it. Put the best play caller on the planet in that booth and we'd still be 8-6 or 9-5 right now at best. Coaching is way down the list of issues for this team.
