Foregoing the 2 FG is on Doug. His impulse to gamble has come home to roost. Guy needs to be reeled in and reminded that hes coaching a team without any margin of error.

This is a poorly coached team this year. Assessments need to be made on how this team moves forward in the offseason

I tend to agree. Regardless of the outcome of this game, there has been way too many instances where we’ve just looked inept or unprepared. The OL sucks true and the QB play has been inconsistent but there’s more to it than that. Doug is a great organizational guy and the players relate to him but he’s not a great motivator and being unwilling to take play calling responsibility away from Press shows poor judgement.

With that said, I wouldn’t be surprised if the team stands pat next year #BecauseShad.

Doug has changed the culture but its time to rethink a bit. Is he the right guy to take us to the next level? Doubtful.

Shad just needs to fire Baalke, hire someone competent to pick players, and they can make the call. If they want Doug to stay that's fine, if we finally did a clean sweep that would be fine, too.

That's stupid. You don't need an "elite" QB to win anything, let alone a QB drafted in the late first round. You just need a middling offense and defensive line and coaches who aren't mouth breathing idiots.
