Exactly he takes blame.
Now I see a lot on twitter saying he doesn't care there is no fire or anger. It's whatever. Big decisions this offseason.

I wish there were big decisions this offseason.

Dude, we're just gonna run it back again.  Just like this.

Certain boot lickers love the status quo, and our Owner isn't known for making hasty decisions.  So just expect that the entire blame for this abomonation was all on the O-Line.  And once we fix that O-Line it will be better.  LOL.  Even though we actually had the same O-Line this year as we had last year.  We actually upgraded, in my opinion.  Harrison has been good.  Cam looked good.  Fortner and Shcerff  were here last year too.  It's not like this year's O-Line wasn't similar to last years, in terms of the players.  But apparently they just all decided to suck this year compared to last year for some random reason. Maybe it was because of El Nino....

Coaches have no accountability.  They are beyond reproach for those that lick boots.

He's our QB. Not our franchise QB. Done making excuses for the kid. You can draw up all the excuses you want, you can make the Andrew Luck connections all you want.

The bottom line is that he's turned the football over just as much as Bortles did in the same amount of career starts. He's taking bad situations around him and making them worse.

It's like watching a kitchen fire break out and instead of smothering the flames and throwing salt on the nonsense he's, at times, throwing more oil into the fire or fanning the flames.

Some of the turnovers he's had are [BLEEP] inexcusable man. The fumble on Sunday night football against the Ravens is one of them that jumps out. He's not entirely at fault, but, my god man, the turnovers have to [BLEEP] stop, or, he has to start throwing more TD's or rushing for more TD's.

Allen might be a turnover machine, but, he AT LEAST puts the [BLEEP] football in the endzone nearly double the amount of mistakes he made. Lawrence BARELY broke even this season in that column and that's a problem. He's getting no [BLEEP] slack from me in 2024. NONE.

Sink or swim is the theme for this team in 2024. If they fail like they just did again for the second year in a row? Just like that. We're looking at a reset potentially. Wild to think and say that out loud but it's there.

Few of the folks posting last night and today can accept that last year's team was ahead of schedule and overachieved nor that this year's team, while having relatively the same level of success, still has the fatal flaws that must be corrected in order to continue to improve. The roster isn't good enough, lord help us that Baalke can fix it (doubtful).

Ron Rivera [BLEEP] canned today in Washington. I would fire Caldwell and ask him to come here for a year or two to just fix, coach and toughen up this defense.

I would be ok with that, I'm not enamoured with Caldwell or his scheme. It's reminds me of the Gus Bus.

It's awful. We saw the same issues for the second year in a row with him and it needs to be addressed. As much [BLEEP] as Press Taylor, Doug Pederson and Trevor Lawrence get for the failings on offense?

Caldwell should be canned for these issues on defense. You had one of the better pass rushing tandems in the NFL this season, you had, at one point, one of the best turnover producing defenses in the NFL. There's been plenty of money and draft capital spent on that side of the football.

Something clearly went off after they got exposed by the 49ers it seems like he never found any answers or enough answers to recover for it. The blown coverages in the secondary, the blitzes that were called and routinely beat perfectly, something we saw again yesterday at one point or two, it's nauseating.

Doug MUST learn from his mistakes with the Eagles. If he doesn't move on from these coordinators his fate is sealed in my opinion, and so is Lawrence's. Failure to adjust all season was self evident and it's really, really troublesome.

Similar issues there, the middle is soft and they had injuries in the secondary all year. I don't know if Caldwell legitimately could've called anything else though, I'm reminded of Todd Wash's "We blitzed, we played zone, we played man...there's not much more we could try" press conference. This team just isn't good enough.

Feels like they’ve had their moments. I’m not against Caldwell coming back next year. I think he was probably a bit to much bend don’t break early on but got more aggressive late in the year in spots. Talent wise, we’re a couple players short and they need to work on tackling but it could be a good defense with this scheme. But if they can get a true upgrade at DC, then by all means.

Losing Hamilton for basically the year showed how little depth we have in the middle of the line. If we're sticking with a 34 look we MUST get a true gargantuan Nose who will eat the double team in the middle. I don't think Hamilton nor Foley were either one really that guy, they are about 40 pounds light for what needs to happen there in this scheme. Those two plus RRH are more traditional 34 Ends, we don't have the mountain in the middle yet, and if those guys don't keep the blockers off the linebackers this scheme can't work.

And Josh Allen wasn't this version of Josh Allen right out the gate. Neither was Luck.

It wasn't until their 3rd seasons (I'm excluding Lawrence year 1 dumpster fire under Urban) where you really saw the leap. Lawrence is still so young. He's 1 year older than Penix! Trevor won't be 25 until October! When Luck was 24, he put up 23 TDs and 9 interceptions.

I agree that his turnovers are something to worry about but he has to be PERFECT for this team to even have a chance. They can't run the ball. Not even a little. He has had a revolving door at WR outside of Ridley. An Oline that is constantly giving up pressure up the middle (which no QB, not even Brady, could work with).

Ir's hard to blame everyone else when you lead the league in turnovers.

AMEN, AMEN, AMEN! I pointed this out to my youngest son (plays DE and OLB) regarding the Jaguars defense several times this season.

Pinning everything on Lawrence is absurd. His turnovers were a little high. Not all of them were his fault. Some bounced of hands. Some receivers ran wrong routes. Some were bad throws on Trevor. Some were forced throws when the offensive line is a revolving door at times. The major one he needs to fix is the fumbling issue.

A number of factors here on why it looked bad. He will be fine. Especially, when the OL gets improved.

I would be surprised if his agent let it happen. The evaluation of his value (even his agent's) now with his current stats would be far less than the following year. Stranger things have happened though.

Depends because if Press is back calling the plays, there will be another disappointing season. If the rift is there, he may want out and not care about losing value, he may want to sign now before value goes lower, or he may want to push his weight around to remove the rift before signing.
