As for that Yan stuff, yea not surprising. A short term contract with likely very little guarantees in the league that's all about how much guaranteed money you can make. There's a reason why the guaranteed amount always comes 1st, the years amount 2nd and the total $$ 3rd.

There were also rumors that those numbers were leaked by the Jags front office to try and make them look better, which I'd agree. Makes them look good on the surface, but they keep the actual numbers very vague.

Doubtful. You have to remember that was when Coughlin was back in the building and trying to run this franchise into the ground again. Playing hardball with his players and low balling them with [BLEEP] contracts. Was the same boat for Allen Robinson etc.

Also the players hated Coughlin and that sadly was one of the things that bonded this team in that 2017 playoff run out of spite.

I have no clue what he wants, neither does anyone else.   It was brought up because a few think that's where the negotiations will start.

It was likely a decent amount guaranteed being it was a shorter deal, he just thought he was worth more and he would of actually been overpaid.  He never got  contract close to that after.  He knew he made a mistake not taking it looking back and why he fired his agent.  He lost about 30 mil he will never get back.

I am just a spectatur in this. I already knew he would be back in 2024. That's Khan's nature. I can't say I blame him. He's never had a team technically have back to back winning seasons.

Ultimately, I think it's a major risk giving him another chance at the wheel getting closer to Lawrence's extension.

However, Prisco is right. If this team falls short again somebody has to go.

And don't worry fans will move the goal posts to be certain he falls short.

We've improved year over year since he's gotten here. 10+ and the playoffs do seem needed. But I guarantee even with we'll have discussions about how he's not the guy to get us to the Superbowl just to break the hump to the playoffs.
