If I wanted to testify before the Jan 6 committee, but Liz Cheney said "no thanks", would it make sense for me to complain that she "blocked" me from testifying?  
It's not a court.  It's more like a grand jury.  People are either invited to testify, or subpoenaed to testify.  If you're not in one of those two categories, you don't testify.

We tolerate it because we have no say in it. Reps have The House, but not really.. That whole party has been infiltrated with bad actors and ill-well wishers. 

But we have a decent chance to tell them how we feel in November, until then, just laugh at them, learn from their mistakes and hope Biden doesn't get us killed first.
