Your posts are opinions too, as are pretty much every other post here, for what that's worth. Yet my opinions refer to facts. Do yours? "Hubris" implies I'm wrong. SC1 just admitted to not being interested in learning anything from me. I diagnosed him correctly.

Of course it does. If I'm right about stuff, and just telling you I'm right, then the pride you perceive in me is appropriate. It's only if I'm wrong about stuff that the pride would be inappropriate. I'm actually pretty humble though, just not humble enough to ignore what I saw on live TV. I guess you're more humble than me in that regard.

At this point, I'm almost hoping he doesn't get re-elected, so I don't have to listen to these same moderates [BLEEP] when Trump goes after every single democrat who's broken the law. It's going to ruin what's left of our public trust in our Republic. This whole thing is a debacle. Almost is the operative word there. It needs to happen. I'm just not sure he's the right guy to do it. No matter what, it's going to be brutal. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

January 6th wasn't an insurrection, and there were some violent, angry people there. Hell, even if they found a few people who were actively conspiring to take over the government of the US, it doesn't make J6 an insurrection. I guess my point is that we don't need to paint it as an entirely peaceful day to say that Marty and Mike's interpretation of the events are incomplete and slanted. In fact, we do better by just owning the warts of it. Yeah, some people broke windows and shoved cops. Yes, there was yelling, and climbing and breaching. Yes, some of them wanted to stop the certification. You're talking a small, small fraction of the entirety. Those people got all the coverage. The news fixated on ratings, not truth. The 3 letter agencies were also heavily involved. At least some of the more disturbing images and known antifa affiliates involved. Yes, some right wingers got drawn in by that and carried away. By and large, it was just people upset at our government for turning a blind eye to their concerns, who marched on Washington, walked through the Capitol building, and went home. Yet, for some reason, moderates are duped into equivocating the actions of the 1% (if that), with those of the many, effectively lumping a genuine movement in with the radicals. Sure. I agree completely... accept for the fact he should have anticipated the cheating, cleaned out the 3 letter agencies, and sprung a counter-trap. Hindsight is 20/20.
After the new videos that dropped of Nancy and her Daughter, I firmly believe now that Pelosi orchestrated J6 by having The National Guard stand down.. She facilitated J6.
That is now a fact.

If a person is right, it is not excessive for them to be proud of being right, unless the thing they're right about is something everyone knows, like 2 + 2 = 4. Here there are many people who are wrong about J6 so it is not excessive for me to be proud of being right about it.

He told them to cheer for the lawmakers they agreed with and jeer the ones they didn't agree with. How are they going to do that when the building was locked, no visitors were allowed, and no projection screen was set up outside? You have to get really technical and feign stupidity to claim that it wasn't Trump's fault that people started assaulting cops to try to break into the building.
