Her daughter was the one who filmed her. And regardless, she knew she was being filmed, do you think she was going to admit it was a set up? With a camera in her face?

If it was part of a conspiracy, Pelosi either would have planned something better to say, and made sure it went public earlier, or she would have told her daughter to stop recording.

Why would she need it to come out earlier, what real blowback has she gotten at all? She’s got a D behind her name, no one was questioning her at the time, they barely are now.

Why did she need it to come out when it did?

And anyhow you're missing the point.
Pelosi admitted fault about part of January 6.
That doesn't mean Trump is innocent.

1.  He said during his speech (paraphrasing) "we will march down to the Capitol peacefully and let our voices be heard".

2.  There is no evidence that I have seen that he was aware of the few democrat plants that were getting violent.

3.  It was pretty obvious from the MSM that I watched that the mostly peaceful protestors were carrying flags and such in support of him.

4.  Did he "wait" or did he not find out that the democrat plants were causing chaos until about three hours had passed?

So you failed to provide any real proof or evidence that President Trump "wanted" the protest to happen.  Your statement is nothing more than your liberal fantasy.

Not to mention he had offered to both the Mayor and Pelosi to call up additional National Guard as a precaution due to the expected crowd size.  Both declined.

I mean if I were going to plan an insurrection I would make sure there were troops to stop my plan said nobody ever.  Give me a break.

So if Trump didn't want the J6ers to do what they did, why does he call them out as heroes in his rallies? Why does he promise to pardon any of them?

Yes, if there was sufficient security to "prevent harm to officials" (as you now claim), their lives were never in danger (as you previously claimed).

I checked 3 dictionaries, Webster's, Cambridge and mikesez.  in 2 out of 3, dying is considered harmful to one's health.

Did they know at the time that their lives were not in danger?
Did the police know when the battle began that they would win?

Is your memory really this bad?  You said it was known that something big was going to happen, but they had sufficient additional security to protect the officials from harm (post 1304).  If said officials could be kept from harm, obviously their lives were never in danger.  But perhaps the cumulative knowledge on the Capitol police, DC police, Secret Service and FBI was not equal to your own

So you think Pelosi wanted Congress to be attacked, but Trump didn't?

Do you remember what was happening before they cleared the chamber?

Pelosi had no control. Republicans had raised issues and the law says to spend time investigating and potentially even sending it back to state legislators to vote. If that happened, the fraud would have been seen.

What happened when they came back to the chamber?

Pelosi enacted emergency rules that she was not able to enact previously. She stopped any floor debate and was able to remove the previously given motions (or whatever the official term is) that would have forced investigation.

Everything you just said was wrong.
The version of USC 3 they were operating under did not have a mechanism for involving state legislatures. Only governors. And Pelosi was not supposed to be in control.  Pence was presiding over the count, not Pelosi.

You're being dense.
They didn't know whether or not they had enough staff until the event was over.
Neither of us could say "they had enough staff" at 1 PM on January 6.  We could only say that starting around 4 PM on January 6. We didn't know if there was enough staff, and neither did the members of Congress.
I'm trying to explain this like you're 5 but you're not ignorant or inexperienced.  You're just obstinate.

Wit is not knowledge.  Wit is not ability to reason well.  It is the ability to reason quickly, usually to make quick jokes. People can be ignorant and witty at the same time, like Winger. They can be dense and witty and the same time, like FSG.
Wit was not a skill Plato valued, and he never said anything like the quote.  Plato made long arguments, not quick jokes.

I don't know about Winger and flsprtsgod, but I'm not sure how I'll make it through the rest of the day without Plato's approval.  Are there any support groups to help me with this devastating news?

For the record, are you claiming to know, not only everything Plato said, but also things he didn't say?

Philosophical question of the day.........if Plato made a statement, but there wasn't anyone present who later quoted him, did he actually say it?

Well Plato's approval seemed to mean something to you, so it's surprising to find that his disapproval means nothing.  Anyhow, you're not the one who is witty. You're amused by the witty but you're not witty yourself, at least not here.

I know a little about Plato.  Had to read some of his stuff freshman year at UCF.  The cave allegory, the trial of Socrates, the slave who learns math, a few others.  Brevity is the soul of wit and none of those are brief and none of them have one-liners.

I wasn't sure so I checked wikiquote.   Sure enough the quote doesn't appear in classical writing.  It's a recent invention.  Because Plato has been dead roughly 2300 years, we only know him from his writings and what others wrote about him.  So sure, he said things that weren't quoted, but we can't know what those things are.  If you just make something up today, maybe he said it, but probably he didn't.

No No No....she didn't get the questions in advance. Her earrings were actually hearing devices, over which she was fed the answers by the wizard behind the curtain.

But "Croud" honestly, provide details and specifics of Harris' "nonstop lies", as you claimed on these threads.  Be sure to copy and paste excerpts from credible sources to which you post the links.  BTW, do you realize that you're claiming here that Harris is as much of a liar ("nonstop") as is trump?

It amazes me how much people try and talk basic rational thought with MIke. Mike drank the Koolaid a long time ago and there is no coming back. I respect Mike for holding his stance I just totally disagree with ihim. Much of how he see's the world is not a reflection on how most Americans see the country.

*Jobs are tough to come buy (millions of extra population allowed in under Biden Harris
*Inflation is destroying the lower and middle class. Harris/Biden policies have just made the cost of living skyrocket. They keep funding that BS war over in Ukraine, Support Millions of new free loaders entering the country, Make "green" policies that are driving up oil prices, Just printing money like it's going out of style. It is on the Trump/Harris leadership.
*Health Care is worse than ever: It was broken before but add millions of extra people who know get all their healthcare for free while I as a citizen can't get my medical needs taken care of due to affordably, just blows my mind. In my area a Doctor appointment takes 3 weeks because of all the new "citizens" arriving.
*Wars, wars, and wars, Democrats love war and we are in the midst of another in the middle east. Fighting a proxy war with Russia wasn't enough. World leaders do not respect Biden or Harris and yes that matters. If world leaders respect or fear the US president they are much less likely to do something crazy. By the war, Trump was the first US President in Decades to have 0 new wars start under him.
*Just the Pure Democratic Corruption: The trying to lock him up, the Lying about Biden cognitive ability, The Charging Trump with the same thing Biden did but let biden get away with it, The way the press and the democrats handled the assassination attempt.

Most Democrats I know are well off people and speaking from a realm most of us do not live in (I don't know anything about Mke) But I can tell you from a poor old working sap the Democrats look like a bunch of greedy cheating Devils.
