Kiper 3 round mock draft

Quote:Hope it's Carr.

My only fear about Carr is that he is married and has a kid.  I recall the controversial days of David Carr having a couple of kids at the beginning of his career and not putting the time into the film room.  i want a big ben type dude working out, watching film, drinking tequila, and picking up chicks.

I'm starting to think that the people that post on here saying they want the Jags to draft Carr are really just fans of other AFCS division teams that want to see us continue to suck for some more years.

Because thats pretty much why I hope that either the Texans or Titans draft Carr (the Colts won't at this point).
It's just hilarious that you're bashing Carr for being Gabbert 2.0 when Garoppolo is the one that sees phantom pressure and crumbles a la Gabbert...not Carr. There is not a single defensible point you can make if you bash Carr but like Garoppolo. It's just pure lack of knowledge, and it's very embarrassing for you.

If Garoppolo really is as bad as Carr then don't take either one. But for Gods sake anyone who would actually WANT the Jags to take Carr must be a Texans/ Colts/ Titans fan wanting us to continue to suck.

I do not want us taking Carr at all. He will be a lousy pro. You watch & see.

Quoted for use in three years when Carr is a solid starting QB.

So had you even watched Garoppolo before you started throwing his name out saying we should take him?

I get some of the hype with carr but you can't say you watch his tape and say hes a potential franchise qb right now.

I've watched both Garoppolo and Carr, I love Jimmy and I don't know what you're talking about he doesn't crumble from phantom pressure.

Yes, I even liked what I saw from him in the Senior Bowl, despite the numbers in the game not being all that great. He looked the part. Garoppolo under some good coaching in the NFL will be a very good starter for many years in this league.

Carr will be poop that will crumble in adversity.

These are Jags message board fans....they always seem to want the worst possible QB for us and are proud of it too....remember the Zach Dysert love last year?? lol.

They come up with massive reasons why players like Luck and Bridgewater, and actual you know good QB won't be good, but madly pimp out crap like Carr and Dysert, Bizarro world.

They must be sadists.

I agree with this, but Mayock ain't perfect either. He gets a lot wrong too.

Hell, he liked Gabbert back in the 2011 draft.

Why do you keeping saying " us" ? And Jag message board fans as " they" ?

Is that like " they" will actually be at the game, and the rest of " us" will be on the couch?

Never mind. I get it now. Carry on.

If its Carr starting for us over the next year or 2, I'd rather be on my couch watching it than spending good money to see another bad QB flame out in person.

You'd be on the couch if " we" had Luck, Manning, Brady or Rodgers.

Good fans go to support the team, not stay home because the team drafted someone they didn't approve of.

But I digress. You need money in order to save money, and if you're still looking for work, the point is moot.

So staying the couch is a natural . Yelling to mom to bring down more chips is a bit tacky though.
