Donald Trump Cabinet appointees targeted in violent threats

Several people who have been nominated for Cabinet positions in President-elect Donald Trump’s upcoming administration have reportedly been targeted in “violent, unamerican” threats to their lives and those of their family members, Trump’s transition team said Wednesday.

The threats were reportedly made Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, a Trump transition team spokesperson said. The attacks ranged from bomb threats to “swatting.”

“President Trump and the Transition (team) are focused on doing the work of uniting our nation by ensuring a safe and prosperous future,” the spokesperson, Karoline Leavitt, said in a statement. “With President Trump as our example, dangerous acts of intimidation and violence will not deter us.”...

TRANSITION: The Biden regime has been fighting with Trump's transition team about the Transition Agreement (MOU) since September. Realizing they would be violating the Presidential Transition Act by not providing transition resources to the incoming president, they finally agreed to the terms of the MOU provided by Trump's team on Tuesday.

Instead of relying on taxpayer funds or government-provided resources, the transition will be entirely privately funded. Trump's team has made a clear decision: no GSA technology, no government-issued phones or computers, and not even occupying government buildings for their transition operations.

Why such drastic measures? It is a direct indictment of the so-called deep state. During the last transition, Trump was subject to surveillance—deep-state monitoring orchestrated by the Obama administration, which fueled significant suspicion and mistrust. This time, Trump and his team are taking no chances. They refuse to rely on anything that could be compromised by the FBI or anyone in the current Biden administration.

I would not expect the flow of drugs to stop however, unless Americans start demanding less drugs.  The promise Sheinbaum campaigned on, just like AMLO did before her, is to avoid confronting the cartels directly.

I would not expect the flow of drugs to stop however.  The promise she campaigned on, just like AMLO did before her, is to avoid confronting the cartels directly.

Saying that to Biden, Harris and Mayorkis is one thing. To Trump, Vance and Homan is another thing entirely. I guess as we go forward we will see. Canada now is another kettle of fish.

This is all play-acting.  The Mexicans have already stopped the migrant caravans.  And "agreeing to create a plan" is nothing.  But, Trump can claim victory and the Mexicans avoid a trade war.
