Quote:I really like Osemele, if Henderson turns out like him I'd take that every day on the interior.

Henderson is kind of tall to be playing in the interior, isn't he?

Osemele is pretty tall too I think he's around 6'6 and plays guard.

I don't know a lot about Henderson and how true his 6'8 listing on the roster is but if Henderson can end up the kind of guard Osemele is I'd take that.

I think everyone would flip out if we miss out on both Teddy and Clowney just for an extra 2nd and 3rd rounder. We would truly be the laughing stock of the league and Khan should fire Caldwell immediately after he makes this trade.

I think even the most gung-ho pro-staff fans would be calling for Caldwell's head if that happened.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Haha these are good points... imagine if Caldwell totally trolled us and drafted a kicker number one overall. I think our city would literally ask the team to leave.

I'd track him down at seasons end. And for ever point the kicker scored I'd kick him in the shin.

Dave Caldwell was brutally attacked last month, after selecting Cairo Santos with the first pick of the 2013 NFL Draft.  The attack was caught on tape when said fan slapped Mr. Caldwell Two Hundred and Seventeen times -- equal to the point differential between the Jaguars and their opponents last year.   Fellow fans say that they do not condone the action, but are hoping that Mr. Khan hires a trained monkey as their next general manager.  The fan's defense attorney had this to say.

"We believe we have a strong case for insanity."

When asked to comment, the prosecution had this to say. "Mr. Caldwell suffered horrific injuries to his face from the slapping.  To engage in violent behavior because of a football game -- because of a draft pick is unacceptable.  To claim insanity because of a player picked is outrageous.  The Jaguars had their chance to get Bridgewater or Clowney -- either one should have been acceptable to the team.  And Because Mr. Caldwell chose the one that the fan disagreed with --"

When corrected the Prosecutor, a Jags fan, said he had to visit the hospital, and felt that the charges would be dropped citing lack of evidence.

I like your mock, I wonder with Dominique Easley's injury if he could fall to the 3rd or 4th?

Quote:1. Teddy Bridgewater QB 6'3 196 Louisville.

2. Eric Ebron TE 6'4 245 UNC - Does it all as a TE, and even took some snaps last year as a DE. He's playing good now but think he's only scratched the surface as a TE. Gives us a legit receiving threat at TE

3. Jeremiah Attaochu DE 6'3 245 Georgia Tech - Plays OLB/End at GT I think he'd be a great fit as a pass rusher and could rotate in right away and provide some much needed pressure.

4. Gabe Ikard Interior OL 6'3 300 Oklahoma - Another former TE convert from Oklahoma has been a 4 year starter at both center & guard. Like his athleticism and he finishes his blocks.

5a. Jeff Matthews QB 6'4 225 Cornell - He can sit behind Teddy Bridgewater & iron out the wrinkles in his game, he's got the arm strength and good accuracy to go with his size. Reminds me a bit of Matt Ryan.

5b. Boseko Lokombo OLB 6'3 230 Oregon - Pretty solid all around LB, worked his way up to being a starter through his special teams play. Think he could provide some solid competition at the OLB spot.

6. Antonio Andrews RB 6' 219 WKU - Could possibly go earlier, but he's got everything you need in a RB averaging 7.5 ypc this year. All around back with over 100 yards in every game but one where he had 99 and has yet to dip below 5 ypc in a game.

7. Brad Daly DE 6'1 240 Montana State - 18 sacks combined in the 2011-2012 seasons. 9 through 5 games so far this year. He's dominating at his level of competition so I think a 7th rounder would be the perfect place to take a flyer on him.

This mock was made under the following assumptions:

We get the #1 pick.

We sign at least one good starting interior OL in FA, don't know who but we need to protect our #1 pick.

We retain Blackmon at CB. He's been pretty solid for the most part from what I've seen.

With picks from Monroe trade:

4. Cody Hoffman WR 6'4 210 BYU - Has had a drop off in production this year partly due to QB play. But he has all the tools needed to be an effective WR, can even return kicks and he can ease into the rotation at WR.

5.  Keon Lyn CB 6'1 205 Syracuse -  Watched a couple of his games from last year and I think with some time to develop he could be a good corner. One thing I like about him is that he's always going for the ball.

I'd like the Jags to get Teddy in the first then his RB in the second or third.
