We planning on tanking the next 2 seasons, too? Why is the above relevant to this thread?

I don't feel like going through the effort. Besides, top notch Quarterback play is top notch Quarterback play, right?

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

If he would come out after next year, agree to only play football, and the Jags were assured of getting and keeping him .... I could accept winning 0 games. He looks that good. He also demands that everyone plays perfect, doesn't accept WRs dropping the ball, running the wrong routes, etc. He has the head/attitude of Manning & Brady.

That same attribute I have seen from Bridgewater just today - with the fade route in the EZ in the first Q when the WR broke his route and never looked up. Teddy gave him an earfull.

Quote:First quasi- negative play I saw all day by Bridge.

It was a 3rd & 27, Temple sent in the blitz, Teddy initially did a good job in buying time and rolling out while looking downfield, but instead of throwing downfield, he ultimately just dumped it to the check down..... I would think there had to be single coverage there deep; -  at that point you just take your chances deep. The check down wasn't getting the first down, and an INT is just about as good as a punt in that situation...
3rd and 27.....negative because of a 3rd and 27. Those are probably converted 1% of the time.....

And Winston is incredible. My goodness.

Yeah, he'll probably be an outstanding prospect by then...

Hopefully it will be an NFC team that gets him at that point.

I wasn't being critical for Teddy for not converting the play, I was being critical for taking the check down in that instance, when I'm pretty sure there would have been single coverage downfield (considering how the play was developing) . Why not take the chance? If it gets picked, it would have been as good as a punt anyway....

If the punter only netted 30 yards, yeah it would be just as good.

Oh, I didn't know 30  yards was the longest possible pass play.

Shame they run the ball so much he never had a chance to actually win the Heisman.

That said he is the only top QB in this draft that actually runs a pro style offense. And by tip I mean guaranteed first round not the second round game managers.

Lol. I don't see the benefit in taking a risky chance like that. Could result in a pick and a db with blockers in front. I'd rather gain a few extra and play the field position game in that situation. That's just my opinion though.
