I like how he gave his WR an earful after he broke off his route. Get em Teddy.

So far Teddy's been on the field for 2 drives....

Teddy showed good touch on the 2 longer passes he's completed, one to their TE for about 35 yards on play action and the other to Devante Parker on a fly pattern. Incidently Parker sustained a shoulder injury on the play....

I saw only one poor pass from Teddy so far, that was a low pass to the RB in the flat, still could have been caught....but....

I saw Teddy step up into the pocket a few times to avoid the rush, one of which he decided to tuck the ball & run for 5 yards. He's definitely not the fastest runner, but he's not Leftwich, either.

Teddy's also threw an incompletion in the EZ on a fade pattern, but the WR never looked up. Teddy seemed a bit ticked at the WR for not being aware, as well. I agreed with Teddy there.

After 3 drives,

he's up to 151 yards on only 11 attempts. Thats what I like to see. Efficiency; a YPA of 13, and its not all merely a factor of YAC like the YPA bashers always like to use as an excuse. Bridgewater can & does utilize the entire field.

More positives would be Bridgewater completing passes to seven different receivers already.

4 for 5 on 3rd down, too.

It usually takes Blaine Gabbert or Henne 25 pass attempts to reach 151 yards, rofl...

This weekend is our last hurdle to getting the #1 pick. Also counting on Glennon to win a couple games too.

Ooooo, I wouldn't go that far...

Tampa on paper has the talent to win a few games, but they are going to tank it (they already are with that bum Glennon) They will be a problem all year in regards to the #1 overall race.

As a matter of fact if the Jags do win vs the Rams, I think it will be a huge blow to our chances of getting it, because I see the potential of at least 3 more wins on the schedule after this week, vs Arizona, one of the Tennessee games and Cleveland if Weeden is out and they need to start a 3rd stringer.

I'm not sure I see another win on Tampa's remaining schedule.

Teddy was flawless on that last drive.

Teddy ran the 2 minute drill to perfection there, granted the TD pass was to a wide open receiver.....but still....

On all the other passes, he just throws a nice, catchable ball and puts it usually only where the WR has the best chance to make a play, not where the DB can....

Next year is going to be nice.. If we draft Teddy, go big in FA we could contend next year.

I doubt we go big in FA during the second year of rebuilding. I expect us to do very little if not nothing in FA again.

With all the rookies and new players on our team there's a 1% chance we contend. Too much inexperience. I do think we could at least appear competitive.

I don't think there was much of a chance of Teddy pulling a John Elway and not wanting to play with Jacksonville anyway....but even so, I think when he sees the chance to walk right into a situation with one of the better WR corps in football with Blackmon/ Shorts/ Sanders/ another acquisition next offseason?/ that he'll be more than happy to come here.

Not sure about Devante Parker's availablility (eligible yet?) but if so, that'd be the icing on the cake for Bridge if we could snag him in the draft.
