Quote:Spy Hunter, Galaga, Centipede, Donkey Kong, Q-Bert  were my go-to games at the arcade.

Any 904 people remember the pizza joint in the shopping center at the corner of Ft Caroline and University?  They used to have a good little game room when these games were new.

You're talking about Farahs in the Gazebo?
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

It was in the gazebo shopping center. Don't think it was Farah's though.  My memory is fuzzy on it. Was there a little movie theatre in that same strip back then?

The only arcade-style games I played was Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Capcom vs. Marvel, Time Crisis, and games like those... well, I've played all these older games you guys talk about, but I grew up on the ones I mentioned. Some of the convenience stores had the older ones, but it's hard to justify wasting the dollar or two my mom would give me on Pacman when I could rip someone's head off in Mortal Kombat.

Quote:He's got Tron, which was a pretty cool game from that era.  But, Ms. Pac Man is overkill since he has Pac Man?  Eh.  At least go with Pac Man.

A game like Defender, Space Invaders, Asteroids, or Tetris would have been pretty cool.  I've warned my daughter that when she moves out I was going to convert her room into something like this.
Ms Pac Man is far superior to Pac Man in my oppinion.

What about that Galaga though? PEW PEW

Yup and, if I recall. The ghosts don't have the different AI personalities in Pac Man.

Galaga was another one that was great back in the day.

Pac Man was the classic.  Ms. Pac Man may have been a better game, but it wasn't the first.

I used to actually take a pocket full of pennies to the local 7-11 and play for hours as a kid.. Yes.. Pennies..

You know the refund recess where you can press the button and get your quarter back? If you took a penny, and slid it up inside the slot where the refunded quarter came out, the game gave you 1 credit.. Later on, they started getting smart and started putting metal flaps in the recess to keep from people doing this.. But, a simple flat headed screw driver always bent the flap far enough out so you can insert more pennies.

Nothing like a Big Gulp and hours of Zaxxon..

hypocrite? I never stolen anything in my life.

Taking something that is not yours suggests poor character.

and save the "I was just a kid" thing. In the Jameis thread, you defended stealing. Jameis is 20. Thats not a kid.

You seem to think stealing is okay when its only a small amount, I guess.

I was like 12 homie.. Big difference between 12 and 20.. And if you can't tell the difference between sarcasm and being serious, maybe JW can give you a few pointers..

One day, when you grow up, you'll know the difference between right and wrong too..

Ohhh, now you're just going to claim you were being sarcastic in that thread and that you weren't really making light of Jameis' stealing. Well played, well played...

The last sentence is odd, considering you're the one that was claiming it was no big deal to steal.

What do you think it was? Me being serious saying it wasn't worth him stealing crablegs because they had Old Bay seasoning on them? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Keep trying Snookie..
