Jags Draft 2015 - Not to early to chat......
|
Quote:No.. I'm not. Considering I didn't even want Bridgewater at 3. I did....and he would have been worth it, despite what people like you seem to think. Franchise QB are always worthy of a top 5 pick. I'm happy w/ Bortles, but still believe Teddy is/ was the best QB from this draft and will be the best pro. Quote:I did....and he would have been worth it, despite what people like you seem to think. Wait, wait, wait...... I thought it was all about "value". If the Jaguars took someone at #3 but could have been taken late in Round #1, wouldn't that be bad value? Why are you against maximizing value, TMD? :whistling:

Why are you against maximizing value, TMD? It is about value. Franchise QB is always good value. There were 2, maybe 3 of those in this draft. But thanks for your usual cLoWn addition to the thread.
Taking him in the top 5 when you can get him at 32 is getting the best value? That only makes sense in the mind of TMD.

Yes, because getting him at 32 was a certainty. lolcLowN We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Quote:1) I'd have to go with Center, Leo, and Free Safety. Hahaha you mean winston guy, not guy whimper. As of right now hroniss grasu looks like ke he will be going in round 1. If we pick in that range I'd definitely be down with taking him. Best fs/pass rusher in round 2 Whatever we didn't t get in 2 I'd take in 3. That would be the early plan for me.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."
Quote:Yes, because getting him at 32 was a certainty. lolcLowN Now you see how people view you when you do your whole little "could have gotten better value" song and dance. Quote:I did....and he would have been worth it, despite what people like you seem to think. You may not remember, but I thought Teddy was the best QB in this draft class. Heck, I had him in my signature for 6 months. Professional talent evaluators know better than we do. Caldwell and other GMs/Coaches thought Bortles was the best QB in this class. Teddy would not have been good value at 3. Quote:I think Bridgewater at 3 is better value than Mack at 3, yes. <div> LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. Clown. </div>
Quote:You may not remember, but I thought Teddy was the best QB in this draft class. Heck, I had him in my signature for 6 months. Other positions I would agree. When you're talking "franchise QB", it supercedes other positions. Bridgewater has a very good chance to be the best QB from this class. A franchise level QB. I'll disagree with anyone that claims getting that would have been bad value at 3. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Quote:Other positions I would agree. But he is NOT a franchise QB. You can't say Teddy is worth a top 5 pick because he can be a franchise QB.. because he isn't yet. He does not have the best chances to become a franchise QB, according to many NFL insiders. If you want to hold on to your silly little opinion, you're more than entitled. Do you know who else has a chance to become the best QB in this class? Derek Carr, Tom Savage, Aaron Murray. Does that mean they should have been picked Top 5? No. Quote:I think Bridgewater at 3 is better value than Mack at 3, yes. <div> LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. Clown. </div>
Quote:But he is NOT a franchise QB. You can't say Teddy is worth a top 5 pick because he can be a franchise QB.. because he isn't yet. LOL @ trying to include Carr/ Savage/ Murray on Teddy's level of QB play. ![]()
Quote:Telvin Smith is probably the MLB of the future. I'd doubt that at his size. He needs at least 25 more lbs...and if he did that, his quickness/ speed would probably suffer. Teddy is a franchise QB ( that went 32) and you think he should of been in the top 5, because him sliding to 32 was uncertain. You also say that QB supercedes other positions. Then why did Minn draft Anthony Barr first, over a Top 5 " franchis QB "? Even the team that drafted Teddy would.have rather missed out on him for the 3rd rated pass rusher.
Quote:Im having a hard time understanding your logic. You'd have to ask Minnesota that. I'm not a mindreader. Maybe they don't have the same mindset that QB supercedes all positions. They have a defensive minded head coach, as well. (Yeah, so do we, but we also have a stronger GM presence than I think they do) Quote:You'd have to ask Minnesota that. I'm not a mindreader. There isn't a soul in the football world that would take Anthony Barr over a " franchise QB".
If we went with a first round pass rusher, I'm leaning towards Devonte Fields. I think he would fit a LEO role well. He seems to use his hands well and has a pretty impressive pass rush arsenal, especially considering they were displayed as a true freshman. He was the BIg 12 defensive player of the year as a true freshman with 18.5 TFL and 10 sacks. He missed almost all of last year with a broken foot. He received a medical redshirt and is a redshirt sophomore this year.
I haven't been sold on Gregory or Calhoun yet. I would like to watch more of Kyler Frackell this year. He is one to keep an eye on. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:There isn't a soul in the football world that would take Anthony Barr over a " franchise QB". Well Bridgewater is a franchise QB, so..... Quote:Well Bridgewater is a franchise QB, so.....Because you say so? Seems legit. Quote:LOL @ trying to include Carr/ Savage/ Murray on Teddy's level of QB play.I'm just going by your logic? Teddy has the chance to be a franchise-level QB. So do all of the other QBs in this class. That doesn't mean they should be picked Top 5. Teddy was not the best QB prospect in this draft. Blake Bortles was. Quote:I think Bridgewater at 3 is better value than Mack at 3, yes. <div> LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. Clown. </div> |
