Jags Draft 2015 - Not to early to chat......

#1

With what the Jags did this year in FA, off season moves and Draft, What do you think is.....

#1 - The Jags top three needs/weakness going into next offseason?

#2 - What position should Jags address early in the draft?

#3 - Who do you want the Jags to pick in 2015, say between picks 5-15 in the first round? Your second round pick.

1- DE, FS, and TE.

* Jags need a stud DE and a ball hawk FS.

2- DE where I think the Jags go with their first pick. Still needs to be addressed and the Jags have to get younger here. I hope Branch finally breaks out this year.

3- Depending where they pick BAP is best option but I like, Leonard Williams DT/DE USC between the 5th-15th pick. If not Leonard then Randy Gregory DE/Leo Nebraska. Free Safety Curtis Drummond Mich State in the second round.

PLAYOFFS!!! WOOOT!!!

Center-TE-Free Safety

#2 - What position should Jags address early in the draft?
I would say right now free safety but it could be TE

Wow I think this is a little early as players grow so much from year to year in college.Nobody clear yet. I will tell you its someone that was a sophomore last year and we have hardly head of.

Normally me saying I have no clue makes me feel dumb.

In this case, it's kind of the opposite. I'll get back to you with this in a few months.

What lies behind us, and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.

No reason Landon Collins can't play both spots at safety if need be.

LEONARD FOURNETTE FAN CLUB PRESIDENT. I WAS BEHIND HIM WHEN YOU ALL SAID HE WAS BRANDON JACOBS. QUIT HATING ON THE JAGUARS. GUS IS GONE. COUGHLIN HAS RESTORED ORDER. FOURNETTE IS FRED TAYLOR. DONT BELIEVE ME JUST WATCH.

#1 - FS/ILB/TE

#2 - Free safety

#3 - Karl Joseph. Not sure on second round yet, haven't looked at inside linebackers.

Karl Joseph is a much better single high free safety than Collins.

Center/ Free Safety/ Nose Tackle

#2 - What position should Jags address early in the draft?

I would say Center with a late first round pick or early second round pick.

#3 - Who do you want the Jags to pick in 2015, say between picks 5-15 in the first round? Your second round pick.

At this point we are throwing darts at the board, but here ya go

1st

Jalen Mills, CB, LSU

Height: 6-1. Weight: 189.

2nd

Reese Dismukes, C, Auburn

Height: 6-3. Weight: 295.

DE Shilique Calhoun or FS Curtis Drummond

I like Both Mich St prospects a lot

From the one game of Randy Gregory on draftbreakdown, I did not come away impressed with his play really. That is the only game I've seen on him though.

Our positions of need will change over the course of next season depending on who steps up and who falls on their face.

If brewster and evans become stars at the center/FS position respectively, Then I think TE is the obvious choice. I doubt we have any surprises at the TE position this year.

I would really like Dante fowler jr in a jags uni next year and this is coming from a fsu fan lol

I just don't see DE as an immediate need next season to pick in the high rounds.

Both good players
Dismukes I believe he can be had in the 2nd or 3rd. He by far is the best center running Auburn,s fast pace offense. If you saw the NC there is a reason Jernigan was so winded in the 4th quarter.

I would say our o line depth is the definition of suspect at this time. I would not mind help there in the first couple rounds.
Only a chump boos the home team!

I look forward to watching what I can in Drummond, I think he will be a first round pick, but a lot to wait for this season.

The positions which should NOT be considered in the top 3 rounds are:

Q.B., R.B. and W.R.

The positions of greatest need will most likely be:

Tight end, interior of the line (center and guard), free safety and another pass rusher

It is unlikely that an interior lineman would be the BAP so they will take the best player at one of the other positions. If they could get an elite tight end, free safety or pass rusher in the top 10 that's what I'd do. I would not name a player as it is way too early and who would have guessed at this time last year that Bortles would be our 1st rounder and Marquis Lee, our 2nd rounder.

Ol, fs, Te, dl

in round one guys like fowler and Gregory make sense.

in round 2 maybe dismukes depending on how Brewster does.

Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

I dont know about that, if Hroniss Grasu came out this year he probably would of been the 1st center taken
