Damian Copeland

Quote:LOL... I recently ranked the Jaguars WRs and had Copeland dead last. I'll have to move him up now that he's emerged as a presence in the slot. Now I'm thinking... Corrected #2 above. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:Of course he's eligible. Why wouldn't he be?I think it was the way I interpreted your earlier post. Even if he gets cut I think he makes the practice squad and sticks around.

What reason for Hurns being so low? He has looked good out there. Quote:What reason for Hurns being so low? He has looked good out there. So low? He's a rookie. Damian I just moved up because he's been getting accolades from everyone including Coach Bradley, but Kerry Taylor was making plays for the Jaguars late in the season last year.

Hurns has gotten alot more accolades than Copeland since they both signed. Hurns is running out there with Mike Brown as the primary backups receivers. Copeland looks to be just a guy. I heard Mark Long on the radio yesterday and he was addressing the WR situation with the injury to Shorts and the Sander suspension. Copeland's name was not even mentioned.
Doss should be ranked #14.
Ok. How about...
1. Justin Blackmon (suspended) 2. Cecil Shorts 3. Marquis Lee 4. Allen Robinson 5. Mike Brown 6. Ace Sanders 7. Allen Hurns 8. Damian Copeland 9. Tandon Doss 10. Kerry Taylor 11. Chad Bumphis 12. Nathan Slaughter 13. Lamaar Thomas

Just watched the "Gus mic'd up" video and they talk about Hurns, goes something like this:
Gus: Chad, you still like Hurns? Henne: Love him Gus: he's you diamond? Henne: Diamond in the rough

So looks like the lists with him so high might need to be changed a bit after today

Looks like Copeland got cut. He could go to the PS which seems likely if he remains on the market.
the fact that we only signed one WR to replace Copeland makes me feel as though the injuries to the other receivers are not an issue, but mainly a precautionary deal.
Quote:Are people sleeping of this dude? Not to act like an undrafted FA will come in and take this franchise by storm immediately but he made some circus catches at Louisville. I feel like he could be a gem for us.Apparently the Jags were sleeping on him too since he's been cut. Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Jmo but Mike Brown doesnt impress me at all.
I feel like his playing time last year was just by default in that we had nobody else. |
